I can tell that if you have a hunger <strong>to</strong> constantly learn and dare <strong>to</strong> be ambitious-that you'll be able <strong>to</strong> learn so much about yourself, your dreams, your fears, aboutthe world that surrounds you and you'll make friends that not only care but truly<strong>in</strong>spire you <strong>to</strong> be the purposeful leader that you deserve <strong>to</strong> be. oGCDPThe Outgo<strong>in</strong>g Exchange (Global Citizen) Portfolio’s activities can be broken down <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong>two essential components: Sales and Exchange Participant Management (EPM). Asa front office portfolio, you will be responsible for the execution of sales eventsorganised by the Market<strong>in</strong>g and Communications (MAC) Portfolio. This means youwill be actively promot<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>AIESEC</strong> brand and Global Citizen (GC) Program,runn<strong>in</strong>g stalls and <strong>in</strong>formation sessions. Additionally, you will be responsible <strong>in</strong>convert<strong>in</strong>g students who are <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong> the GC Program <strong>to</strong> become activeparticipants. You will be participat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> activities such as coffee chats andtext<strong>in</strong>g/call<strong>in</strong>g manias.EPM requires you <strong>to</strong> assist and guide EPs throughout their <strong>AIESEC</strong> Journey from thestart until the very end when they come back from exchange. Due <strong>to</strong> this expectation,your terms end much later than other positions as many EPs come back the yearafter your term. Additionally, you will also be participat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>AIESEC</strong> events such asOutgo<strong>in</strong>g Preparation Sem<strong>in</strong>ar (OPS), Re<strong>in</strong>tegration events and EP Events.


oGIPThe Outgo<strong>in</strong>g Global Internship Program (Global Talent) member deals with promot<strong>in</strong>gand facilitat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>ternships <strong>in</strong> the fields of Market<strong>in</strong>g, Sales and IT. Members of the oGIPportfolio will be responsible for the quality control of the <strong>in</strong>tern’s experience, help<strong>in</strong>g them<strong>in</strong> their global professional development journey. Team members will do this throughdirectly <strong>in</strong>teract<strong>in</strong>g with our <strong>in</strong>terns alongside the host<strong>in</strong>g countries <strong>in</strong> order <strong>to</strong> create thebest experience possible.Members will be liais<strong>in</strong>g with students and faculty members at <strong>RMIT</strong> <strong>to</strong> facilitate <strong>in</strong>ternshipexperiences. they will be do<strong>in</strong>g focus<strong>in</strong>g on sales and conversion through consultancychats and runn<strong>in</strong>g physical market<strong>in</strong>g campaigns.


iGIPThe Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Development portfoliois the function solely responsible forthe creation and implementation ofthe Global Internship Program acrossthe <strong>AIESEC</strong> global network.We are responsible for creat<strong>in</strong>gbus<strong>in</strong>ess opportunities with externalstakeholders such as companies andNGOs. You will work directly withcompanies <strong>to</strong> identify their needs andessentially provide them with end-<strong>to</strong>endsourc<strong>in</strong>g solutions and talentcapacity. In do<strong>in</strong>g so, you will begenerat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>ternship opportunitieswith bus<strong>in</strong>esses and match<strong>in</strong>g ofthose opportunities <strong>to</strong> qualified and<strong>in</strong>terested <strong>AIESEC</strong>ers abroad whowish <strong>to</strong> come and work <strong>in</strong> Australia.Through iGIP we hope <strong>to</strong> be able <strong>to</strong>create as many opportunities aspossible for young people <strong>to</strong> developentrepreneurial and responsibleleadership with<strong>in</strong> a professional,cross-cultural environment.


MaCThe Market<strong>in</strong>g and Communications portfolio is responsible for <strong>in</strong>creas<strong>in</strong>g <strong>AIESEC</strong> <strong>in</strong><strong>RMIT</strong>'s reach <strong>to</strong> a greater and wider audience on campus. This means tak<strong>in</strong>g charge ofvarious social media channels, deal<strong>in</strong>g with public relations, manag<strong>in</strong>g onl<strong>in</strong>e and offl<strong>in</strong>emarket<strong>in</strong>g campaigns. The portfolio will also be <strong>in</strong> charge of students first impression of<strong>AIESEC</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>RMIT</strong>. As a member of the Market<strong>in</strong>g and Communications portfolio you willhave the opportunity <strong>to</strong> make strategic market<strong>in</strong>g decision <strong>to</strong> help the sales portfolio(Outgo<strong>in</strong>g Global Community Development Program, Outgo<strong>in</strong>g Global InternshipProgram, Incom<strong>in</strong>g Global Internship Program) achieve their sales goals. You will alsoneed <strong>to</strong> carefully analyse and research the student market of <strong>RMIT</strong> University, implement,plan and execute all effective market<strong>in</strong>g campaigns


FnOSupports front and back office operations by strategically allocat<strong>in</strong>g f<strong>in</strong>ancial resourceswhere required <strong>in</strong> order <strong>to</strong> achieve LC goals. F&O identifies bottlenecks and makessuggestions <strong>to</strong> optimize the efficient use of our limited resources by way of performancereports. These reports are based on analysis of various lead measures, such as return on<strong>in</strong>vestment, SMP, budget execution, NPS analysis and needs forecast<strong>in</strong>g.To leave <strong>AIESEC</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>RMIT</strong> <strong>in</strong> a f<strong>in</strong>ancially stronger and moresusta<strong>in</strong>able position for the future with at least six months of cashreserves, 100% of budget executed, and optimised <strong>in</strong>formationmanagement processes across the LC.


TMThe Talent Management portfolio is the backbone of all operations <strong>in</strong> <strong>AIESEC</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>RMIT</strong>.TM’s responsibilities and focus are on the committee members <strong>to</strong> ensure that they havethe most enrich<strong>in</strong>g and memorable experience. Talent Management Officers areresponsible for member development, education and engagement.
