Back Office NewsIt seems I’ve been saying the same thing for the lastfew months but we continue to “tweak” the newscoring software, our website and Pianola.In addition, “new” problems come up. For example,we discovered that the scoring system was notapplying master points to placegetters in the monthlymastersheet. This was corrected for June and in Julyall master points earned from February through toMay will be sent to the ABF Master Point Centre.Some members will notice a big jump in their MPawards.Monthly mastersheets are also now posted on theSABA website. Unlike on our old website you willbe able to view the past 12 months mastersheets foreach session. You can view the mastersheets asfollows:T H E D E C L A R E R P A G E 2but they have to be done by Midnight on the last dayof the month. The problem for our club is that weare open 7 days a week and unless I am at the clubafter the last session is completed, the MPs are notsent to the ABF until the next working day. Thismeans that the June points did not show up in June,but they were posted as “provisional” MPs at thebottom of each members masterpoint page and willbe allocated at the end of July. In future, I willsubmit, on time, all masterpoints for the monthexcept for the evening session on the last day of themonth.
