A joint Efma and<br />

Accenture initiative<br />

The Efma–Accenture Distribution & Marketing Innovation <strong>Awards</strong> programme<br />

is a joint initiative from Efma and Accenture, which aims to identify and award<br />

the most innovative projects in the retail financial services arena at a global level.<br />

Efma and Accenture launched this initiative with the aim to spread out and share<br />

worldwide best practices in the Retail Banking Distribution and Marketing arena.<br />

This programme is split into two major phases:<br />

<strong>Awards</strong> Ceremony<br />

2013<br />

edition<br />

316 entries from<br />

158 institutions in<br />

54 different countries<br />

2014<br />

edition<br />

599 entries from<br />

252 institutions in<br />

59 different countries<br />

All banks are encouraged to identify their most<br />

innovative initiatives in eight categories (Customer<br />

Experience, Physical Distribution, Digital Distribution,<br />

Big Data & Analytics, Digital Marketing, Sustainable<br />

Business, Best New Product or Service, Best Innovation<br />

in Payments) and post them into the dedicated portal<br />

www.efma.com/Innovations.<br />

The best innovation in each category will be awarded<br />

during a dedicated event, open to all banking players,<br />

which will be held in Amsterdam on 28 October 2015.<br />

Moreover, two additional awards will be assigned by<br />

the Innovation Award Committee to identified banking<br />

players in the following categories: Most Disruptive<br />

Innovation and Global Innovator.<br />
