2015 <strong>Awards</strong> categories<br />

The Efma–Accenture Distribution & Marketing<br />

Innovation <strong>Awards</strong> aims to appraise and<br />

recognise the most innovative projects, initiatives<br />

and ideas in the Distribution & Marketing field,<br />

carried out by retail financial institutions at global<br />

level. Winners are awarded by their peers.<br />

The panel of judges for the Distribution & Marketing Innovation<br />

<strong>Awards</strong> is exclusively composed of senior retail bankers from all<br />

over the world. Their vote accounts for 50% of the final score,<br />

whereas the remaining 50% is the result from all votes by Efma<br />

members visiting the portal. Winners will be awarded during<br />

the <strong>Awards</strong> Ceremony (28 October 2015, Amsterdam) in the<br />

following eight categories:<br />

- Customer Experience -<br />

Innovations aimed at radically changing the way FS<br />

players engage customers at every touch point (physical<br />

and digital) and how they develop a more seamless<br />

and personalized experience. Brand-new approaches<br />

include: new customer management models (service<br />

models), omnichannel customer journeys, innovative<br />

management of customer loyalty and satisfaction.<br />

- Physical Distribution -<br />

Innovations in the FS physical distribution network,<br />

related to: branch footprint and location, branch format,<br />

compelling customer experience by exploiting cuttingedge<br />

technologies and improved operating model<br />

through digitisation and self-service.<br />

- Digital Distribution -<br />

Innovations aimed at enhancing distribution approach<br />

in the pure digital space, including: mobile and<br />

social media as sales channels, remote relationship<br />

management to infuse the human touch into digital<br />

channels, contact centres, cross-channel sales<br />

enablement, value-added self-service features<br />

(e.g. innovative user experience and interaction).<br />
