Immediateperformance and cooling improvementswill be noticed. The heads are completelyassembled with standard size valves, bronzeguides and hardened seats. The exhaust portsare in the original location so that regularmanifolds or headers may be used. Werecommend the MGA header #454-855 as themanifold is highly visible. The head requiresa new four-branch intake manifold andmatching carburetors, you may choose fromthree choices of manifolds and carburetorsbelow. The 13/4" SUs offer the best balanceof power and ease of operation. The WeberDCOE manifold kit and 45DCOE Carbsoffer the highest flow possible for maximumpower potential in modified engines. Thereis no provision for emission connections, andsome modifications will be required for bestoperation. Manifold kits do contain intakegaskets and some linkage components, but dueto the variety of installations, some fabricationmay be required.
