: 8 :Item No. VII:To make eligible the persons appointed on tenure posts / oncontractual basis eligible for allotment of transit flats in Sector-12 A, Panchkula.It is submitted that the allotment of Transit Flats to the ContractualEmployees like DAG, AAG etc. is to be put up to the Allotment Committee as desired byWorthy Chief Secretary to Govt. Haryana dt. 29.09.2008. The Worthy Chief Secretaryvide order dt. 20.02.2008 kept the allotment to contractual employees in abeyance asproposed. It is, also, brought to the notice of the committee, if the contractual employeesare given Transit Flats, it is normally occupied by them till the last date of theircontractual agreement and they do not vacate the Transit Flats within a specified time ofone year. Moreover, their terms and conditions of services specifically providehandsome rent allowance alongwith other remuneration. If we allot Transit Flats tocontractual employees then the chances of getting of Transit Flats to our regular officerswill further be reduced. It is therefore, put up to the committee for discussion anddecision in this regard.
