An anchor subtenant is a company that satisfies JTC’s assessment on value-added,remuneration per worker and employee profile, and occupies at least 1,500 sqm of gross floor area (GFA).2. Please read through the Policies and Procedures <strong>for</strong> <strong>Subletting</strong> by Third-Party Facility Providers which can be foundon JTC’s corporate website at http://www.jtc.gov.sg/, be<strong>for</strong>e proceeding with this application. You may also refer <strong>to</strong> JTC’s<strong>Subletting</strong> Handbook which can be found at http://www.jtc.gov.sg/Documents/sublet_handbk.pdf.3. ANNEX BCOST ELEMENTS CONSIDERED AS R&D EXPENDITURE1. Manpower cost – 100% <strong>for</strong> FULL-TIME R&D staff and 50% <strong>for</strong> staff in product design / developmentand process re-engineering 21 .2. Costs of materials, specialised softwares and services consumed in R&D activities (must be directlyrelated <strong>to</strong> project).3. Amortisation of Technology and Intellectual Property Rights 22 Licensing / Acquisition (only applies <strong>for</strong>licensing and acquisition with parties of no direct relationship, i.e. not parent or subsidiary / associatecompany).4. Training – 50% on training and course fees. (Training must be directly related <strong>to</strong> R&D and productdesign / development and process re-engineering.)5. Costs in engaging consultancy services and / or conducting feasibility studies / market research.These services / researches must be directly related <strong>to</strong> R&D activities.6.
