Superior wetting actionGreatly reduces run off at applicationand prevents re-wetting once dry toallow controlled distribution ofpest-icides as Nu-Film weathers.SpreadingHelps pesticide sprays penetrate andspread out uniformly on hairy or waxyleaves to get into all cracks and crevices.StickingAs a derivative of pine resin, Nu-Film-17is a superior natural adhesive. Increasingthe initial amount of pesticide depositedduring field applications and also protectsthe spray residue from loss due toirrigation, rain, dew, leaf abrasion andwind erosion.Controlled releaseNu-Film-17 dries into an elastic filmwhich encapsulates the pesticide particles.• Systemic chemicals move from thefilm into the plant tissue• Contact insecticides are slowlyreleased on the outside of the filmfor re-distribution and active pestcontrol as the film naturally weathers.ActivatorBecause Nu-Film-17 dries rapidly into awaterproof film, it protects systemi-callytranslocated chemicals until they canpenetrate and enter the plant tissue.UV ProtectionNu-Film-17 acts as a sunscreen, preventing degradation of the pest-icideresidue by ultra violet light.Shields against heatNu-Film-17 protects the pesticidesagainst heat decomposition byreflecting solar radiation.Hydrolysis and evaporationNu-Film-17 encapsulates pesticidesbefore they can evaporate, allowing themto be released slowly for more effectiveuse. The perfect IPM partnerNu-Film-17, being a completely naturaland non-toxic product itself, extends thelife of biological control organisms suchas Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis) and viralagents.NRA - Approval No.AS416/0300® Nu-Film-17 is a registered trademark of MillerChemical and Fertilizer Corporation, USA.DIRECTIONS FOR USEGENERAL APPLICATIONSUnder most conditions spray Nu-Film-17 at least one hour, during daylight, before ananticipated rain. Sunlight for this time period is needed for the protective film to set.Nu-Film-17 is compatible with most herbicides, insecticides, fungicides & foliar fertilisers.Recommended not to be used with seletive herbicidesPURPOSE RATE USAGEAS A STICKERTo control the life of the pesticideby forming a sticky elastic film thatencapsulates and holds the pesticideon the crop foliage.AS A SPREADERHelps the pesticide spray spread outuniformly on hairy or waxy plantparts to get into cracks and crevices.AS AN EXTENDERTo extend the time betweensprayings of some pesticides.Dilute Trees Sprays (eg Citrus). The use of Nu-Film-17 on tolerance exempt pesticides closeto harvest may result in visible residues oncrops that may render them unsaleable. If thisbecomes a problem, the rate of Nu-Film-17should be reduced or stopped altogether.Nu-Film-17 Rate per hectare required (mL/ha) x 100Water rate Applied (Litres/ha)Eg. Nu-Film-17 as a full extender @ 1200 mL/ha with 500 Litres of water applied per hectare.1200 x 100= 240 mL of Nu-Film-17 per 100 litres of tank mix500Add Nu-Film-17 to the spray tank as it is filling, with the agitator running. To ensure good emulsificationof this product, it is advisable to pre-mix Nu-Film-17 with water before adding to the spray tank. AddNu-Film-17 to the spray tank as the last ingredient. Rinse tank, lines and nozzles, immediately afterspraying, with water. After rinsing, there may still be a small amount of sticky residue in the tank. This willhelp to prevent rusting and corrosion. It will not clog nozzles when sprayer is next used. If spray happensto land on undesired surfaces, such as windows, cars, application equipment or others, it can be removedwith soap and water, before the spray deposit is dry with premium grade or white kerosene after thefilm has dried or set. To remove dried deposits from painted surfaces, use standard tar remover productsdesigned for use on painted car finishes.Use this product in accordance with good agronomic practices, which include utilising proven sprayequipment set for proper coverage. Do not make applications when temperatures are too hot.Applications should be made at temperature levels and when other environmental conditions in yourarea are such that your experience indicates the application will be compatible and will accomplish thedesired result.Agspec AustraliaABN 40 109 573 953Lot 1 Wandilo Road,PO Box 1006,Mt Gambier,SA 5290Phone: 0427 490 551Agspec Singapore146A Mackenzie Road,Singapore, 228724Phone: (+65) 6 334 6173
