But we weren’t born yesterday.
Established in 1970 as PCS –
Periphere Computer Systeme GmbH:
process control computer and laboratory
data systems on the product side
coupled with high-caliber engineering
for our industrial customers. In the
1980s, we specialized in efficient Unixbased
computers for the industry,
research and teaching as well as in organizational
information systems: time
management and data collection. In the
1990s, we recognized the growing
importance of human resources and concentrated
on high-class series products
with our “INTUS Terminalsysteme”
branding. National and international
design prizes followed. We also obtained
the first certification for our SAP HR
interface in this period. Our range was
successfully supplemented by access
control in synergy with RFID, biometry,
and, more recently, video surveillance for
our further focus on security technology.
Always in step with state-of-the-art time
management. A successful duet. Even
though a triplet of terms forms the basis
of our corporate mission: innovation,
design and quality.

couple. During the creative process of
developing new products, design acts
like a mentor. The design and the
innovation process spur each other on.

similar functionality. But the design of
PCS products makes them unmistakable.

considering the design of a new product
in great depth enhances its quality,
its functionality and its ergonomics.
Our products have a subtle effect but
no reason to hide. And their value is
high, combining satisfaction on the part
of the investor perfectly with high

won numerous awards, and creative
technology for lots of users, who
always come and go, while the INTUS
design stays.

PCS creates planned quality. Nothing is left
to chance in the product process. Materials
and components are selected very professionally.
Suppliers undergo careful examination.
Ecological improvements are especially
important for us. 25 years of very successful
products in our core business bear witness
to this fact. But ingredients are not all of the
story. The course is already set for successful
products in the product planning phase.
A clear benefit for the user versus a risk in
the electronic design. Tried and tested technologies
versus slogans. Inexpensive service
in favour of miniaturization with advertising
appeal. PCS manufactures its products based
on ISO 9001. Our Development department
has close contacts with TÜV Bayern and with
independent testing laboratories. Our products
are compliant with VDE and European
regulations, and will also be UL-approved in
future. It is plain for all to see during the
hard computer-controlled final test carried
out on all products: Quality is good. Quality
assurance is better. Made in Germany.

some 100 resellers, including national
and international software and computer
retailers from all areas of time
and personnel management, product
data acquisition and security technology
that integrate INTUS hardware
into their software solutions. The result

and a future. In the field of security
technology, we partner with installation
