Purpose for the Position:The role will be responsible for the successful delivery of Gym for All Recreation (GFA) programmesand the leadership of recreation coaching staff. The role is an existing vacant position inclusive ofrecreation programmes for Boys and Girls encompassing Kiwi Gym Fun and General Gymnasticsprogrammes for Artistic, Rhythmic, Tumbling.This is a part time leadership and coaching position for 16 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum. The12 contact coaching hours per week are required to be worked in late afternoon/early evening timeperiod. 4 hours per week are designated for equipment set ups and programme planning. Optionaladditional hours are available on a casual basis during school hours.2. Position Context:The Bruce Pulman Park is a unique international sports, recreational and function facility featuringworld class sports outdoor and indoor facilities in 130 acres of spacious park surroundings. The Park isa totally new concept in New Zealand sports, recreational and leisure amenities geared towardscommunity excellence at all levels.The Bruce Pulman Park Gymsport & Recreation Centre is a $5million dollar purpose built gymnasticsand trampoline facility providing training facilities for the Counties Manukau Gymnastic Club membersand the community at large.The core business of the Centre is lifelong delivery of high quality physical activities, life skills,recreational gymnastics and competitive gymsport programmes to the community.
