CHAIN FEEDING SYSTEM WITH DIRECT DRIVEThe LANDMECO chain feeding system isdeveloped on the basis of many years’ experiencewith conventional chain feeders.The system is based on few, thoroughlytestet standard components, thus ensuringhigh functionality and reliability.Chain feeding systems can be suppliedfor suspended installation, installation onsupports or direct installation on slats. Forsupended installation, specially designed,open, one-armed hangers for specifictrough types are available. Feed accumulationis thus prevented and the risk of birdsbeing crushed is avoided.Separate feed inletFeed inlets are installed direct on thetrough or corner units and can be positionedas required.The chain feeding system is designed inseparate modules and is therefore veryflexible. Depending on specific needs, upto eight corner units, additional inlets, etc.can be installed.Direct driveThe drive unit is installed on the feed troughand drives the feed chain direct. There isthus no drive chain, bearings, etc., andthe system is therefore extremely easy tomaintain and clean. The drive unit can befreely positioned as desired.Rough cleaningThe two prongs effectively remove chicksand eggs from the feed trough. The prongsare easily mounted direct on the trough itself.The trough cleaner is ideal for layer houses,but is also suitable for chick feeders.
