When visitors access the NMBB Map, they are greeted with an opening screen that describes whatinformation is available on the map and how to search the data (Figure 1).Figure 1: New Mexico Broadband (NMBB) Map—Welcome ScreenThe NMBB Map opens with a high-level view of the state (Figure 2); users can then display data layers ofinterest and zoom in to the map to see a particular region or community. Included in the NMBB Map are the user guide (Help), base-map options, scale bar, and standard zoom inand out, full extent, and pan functions. Tools and functions in the toolbar (Figure 3) include Layers, Legend, Identify, Find Address, Print Map, Broadband Speed Test, BroadbandFootprint, U.S. Census 2010 Estimates, and Feedback. Please use the Feedback tool at any time to report“no broadband availability” or “inaccurate broadband coverage” in the mapped display of broadbandresources for a community or neighborhood.
