On pages E5 and E7 <strong>the</strong>re is a reference to Mottled GrayMetallic. The DuPont 821-Sproduct has been discontinued. The brand “Hammer-ite” is a dead-on substitute <strong>for</strong> thiscolor.Please note:All <strong>the</strong>se <strong>for</strong>mulas are <strong>for</strong> DuPont Chromabase base color and can be clear-coated withanyvarietyof two-part DuPont high gloss clears. Colors that are flat finished withoutgloss, should have up to 50% flattening agent added to <strong>the</strong> clear coat and thinned 30%.The painter should <strong>the</strong>n applya single coat <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> correct effect.Semi-gloss colors can be made <strong>by</strong>clear-coating Chromabase with 2 medium coats ofDuPont 222-S adhesion sealer. Please try<strong>the</strong>se clears as sample finishes first be<strong>for</strong>ecommitting a clear finish to <strong>the</strong> entire job.
