The GW3060and GW4090 models areequipped with automaticallyregenerated washing watersofteners and use freshlydrawn water in every phase.Washing effectiveness isfi rst and foremost basedon proper execution of thedetergent and neutralisingphases of the materialtreated.The GW3060 and GW4090models have two peristalticpumps, respectivelydedicated to feeding alkalinedetergent in the washingphase and acid-basedneutraliser in the neutralisationphase. Each pump isequipped with a level sensorto be positioned directly inthe can of the products used.The machines are designedto dispense up to 4 differentadditives. Liquid alkalinedetergents, new enzymebaseddetergents or acidbasedneutralisers,caustic soda, disinfectantsand/or defoaming additivescan be used.The injection point and thequantity of additive to beinjected are stored in theworking programs.The heart of the newgenerationSmeg disinfectionmachines is the ultramodern control systemwith 4 microprocessors thatcontrol every activity carriedout and monitor (by meansof redundant system) theentire fl ow of informationprocessed by the machine.The entire GW series offersthe possibility of programmingall the washing parametersby means of a multifunctionmembrane keyboard ordirectly from the PC thanksto the USB, RS232 or LANconnections and the WD-TRACE ® registered software.All the most signifi cantparameters can be set, forexample: execution times,operating temperature,additive quantity, number ofphases. Access to the controloperations is protectedby a system of four userpasswords.7
