LIVES WERE
CHANGED
I have always seen the
impact that United Way
has had on the community.
In the community of
Greater New Milford we
share a vision of hope
for better futures for all
who live here. For a future
where all children are
prepared for that first
day of school, with the
skills needed as well as
a new set of clothes so
they can fit in with their
peers. For a future where
everyone has adequate
shelter, a future where
a roof over their head is
not considered a luxury by
some. A future where no
one has to choose between
their medication and food,
where a pregnant woman
is given the care needed
for the health of her baby
and herself.
This vision is why I have
worked with United Way for
over 30 years. It is why I
give. It is why I advocate.
It is why I volunteer. And it
is why I ask you to join us
in helping our community.
