ARRIVAL TIME<br />
Please CALL, TEXT or EMAIL, DOUG HEIL, Waterfront Director and Dock Master, with your location and ETA at least 1/2<br />
hour prior to arrival in Edgartown (Before or at RED NUN #2 about 5 miles to Edgartown <strong>Harbor</strong>) for docking instructions and real<br />
time tidal current conditions. We will have our Waterfront Staff on duty to assist you in docking.<br />

MAXIMUM STAY<br />
Our transient slips have a maximum stay of 2 weeks during July and August. We do not offer “seasonal slips”.<br />
PETS<br />
Many dogs and pets like the water as much as we do. We welcome your pets at the <strong>Harbor</strong> <strong>View</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> <strong>Marina</strong>, but to ensure an enjoyable<br />
stay for all of the dock guests, please conform to the local leash law and the pet etiquette listed below.<br />
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON HARBOR VIEW HOTEL PROPERTY, ONLY AT THE MARINA. PLEASE KEEP<br />
YOUR PETS OUT OF THE PHYSICAL PROPERTY FROM NORTH WATER TO FULLER STREET.<br />
• Be respectful of your neighbors<br />
• Pets that are a nuisance, bother other dock guests, damage property and/or continuously bark<br />
will be banned from the <strong>Marina</strong>.<br />
• Don’t bring your pet if it is aggressive and or if it barks uncontrollable.<br />
• Minimize dogs barking as not to disturb other guests<br />
• Never leave your dog unattended.<br />
• Always keep your dog on a leash and under voice control<br />
• Always clean up after your pet. Carry a scooper and a bag to immediately pick up mess and<br />
dispose of properly.<br />
• Remember: guests choose our dock because it is quiet and in a natural setting. A barking dog may not<br />
provide an enjoyable stay for other boat owners staying at the dock.<br />
• Some Vineyard beaches have pet restrictions<br />
• Always keep an eye on your pet and do not let it wander to far.<br />
• Dogs and pets are prohibited within 100 yard of nesting habitat.<br />
BARBEQUE/ OPEN FIRES<br />
Due to Town of Edgartown fire regulations, barbeques and open fires are not permitted on the dock nor on the beach.<br />
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DISPOSAL<br />
The <strong>Harbor</strong> <strong>View</strong> <strong>Marina</strong> is located in a sensitive coastal environment where everyone needs to do their part<br />
to protect the ocean and beach. Contaminated diesel fuel and gas, oil, antifreeze, and any haz-mat require<br />
special attention to be disposed of properly. Contact the Dockmaster for special handling.<br />
