The GM-PC EUROPOWER switchboards are divided internally through barriers, baffles and isolation in order to allow switchingoperations, maintenance, inspection and any other moves with the maximum safety and ensuring continuity of operation. Theswitchboards are realized according to standards CEI EN 60439-1, CEI EN 61439-1 e CEI EN 61439-2, and utilize separated cubiclesthat can be easily assembled. Here below there are some type of separation through barriers and baffles:Type 1: no separationFunctional unitIn/out jointMain omnibus busbarbusbar Distribution BusbarDistribution Input circuit BusbarInput Output circuitOutput circuitType 2a: separation of bus bar from the functionalunits, the terminal for the external conductors are notseparated from the bus bar.Type 2b: bus bar separated from the functional units, the terminal are separated from the bus bar.Type 3a: separation of bus bar from the functional unitsand separation of all functional units, separation ofterminals for the external conductors from the functionalunits but not separated from the bus bar.Type 3b: separation of bus bar from the functional unitsand separation of all units one from the other, separation of terminals for the external conductors butnot one from the other and separated from the bus bar.Type 4a: separation of bus bar from the functional unitsand separation of all functional units one from the other, included the terminals for the external conductors thatare in the same compartment of matched functionalunit.Type 4b: separation of bus bar from the functional unitsand separation of all functional units from one toanother, included the terminals for the externalconductors that are not in the same compartment, but indifferent and separated cubicles .36
