Short shift lever available for Belt Drive Velke<br />
All Velke Belt drive mowers using a Pro 1 or X2 Velke<br />
With the Velke locked in the up position, you cannot shift the<br />
speed control due to interference of the shift lever and Velke<br />
arm.<br />
Purchase the optional short shift lever kit.<br />

WVG SHORT SHIFT INSTALLATON<br />
KIT # 95410003<br />
1) Remove Velke latch, replace 5/16”x ¾” bolts with two 5/16”x 1” bolts using two 3/8”<br />
spacers to move latch position back allowing clearance for shift lever.<br />
2) Remove existing shift lever (note lever bolts to the front of the shifter bracket) thread new<br />
shifter through selector gate, center and tighten bolts.<br />
3) Position Velke latch so that it catches Velke arm tab positively and releases with ease May<br />
need to reposition latch lever for panel clearance.<br />
