Eye Spy
Horses have the largest eyes of any land mammal! Even though your eyes are tiny
compared with Duke’s, open your peepers and see if you can spy these things at
Kingdom Rock VBS:
Chadder
someone laughing
a leader wearing a costume
a musical instrument
friends
a Bible
a barnyard animal
food
something smaller
than your eye
someone sporting a hat
There’s No Palace Like Home
Today you’ll hear about a woman in the
Bible who was picked to be the queen.
She left her regular house and got to
move to the palace. How awesome would
that be? With your Crew, let each person
say the following sentence, filling in the
blanks with words that start with the first
letter of their name:
A horse named JJS Summer
Breeze holds the record for
the longest tail—12 feet and 6
inches! That’s about the same
length of your three smallest
Crew members standing on
each other’s shoulders.
I’m [Name]. My palace would be in [place],
filled with [items], and everyone in my
kingdom would [activity]!
So someone named Adam might say, “I’m
Adam. My palace would be in Antarctica,
filled with alligators, and everyone in my
kingdom would play air guitar!”
