The <strong>Stove</strong> Alarm signal has a higher tone than the <strong>Stove</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> signal.<br />

<strong>Stove</strong> Alarm: repetitive fast ‘beep,<br />
beep, beep’<br />
<strong>Stove</strong> <strong>Guard</strong>: a short signal every few<br />
seconds<br />
<strong>Stove</strong> <strong>Guard</strong>: two short beeps (after<br />
turning the Safety Lock off)<br />
<strong>Stove</strong> <strong>Guard</strong>: a signal every half an hour<br />
or every hour<br />
<strong>Stove</strong> Alarm (and the <strong>Stove</strong> <strong>Guard</strong>): a<br />
signal once a minute<br />
The <strong>Stove</strong> Alarm has detected a high<br />
temperature or a fast temperature<br />
rise on the cooker's surface (Hotplate<br />
Monitoring). This is a warning signal<br />
which starts one minute before the<br />
actual alarm. By resetting the warning<br />
signal, the alarm is cancelled.<br />
The <strong>Stove</strong> Alarm has detected a high<br />
temperature or a fast temperature<br />
rise on the cooker's surface (Hotplate<br />
Monitoring). The gas/electricity has<br />
been cut off.<br />
The gas/electricity has been cut off<br />
either due to the Intelligent Timer<br />
function, detection of an external<br />
alarm signal, or the Hotplate Monitor<br />
detecting a high temperature.<br />
The Safety Lock has been turned off<br />
and the electricity reconnected to the<br />

Reset the warning signal by<br />
pushing the push button once<br />

alarm signal by pushing the push<br />
button once (false alarm) or twice<br />
(correct alarm), see section 2.1.<br />
Turn off the cooker hobs. Push the<br />
button on the <strong>Stove</strong> Alarm once.<br />
The cooker can now be used.<br />
Repeat the set-up procedure.<br />
Replace the battery. Pushing the<br />
button on the <strong>Stove</strong> Alarm once<br />
will postpone the battery alarm for<br />
12 hours.<br />
