The Land Between: Finding God in the Difficult Transitions New Facebook discussion group- read the book and respond to the discussion when it's convenient for you and from anywhere you have access to Facebook. Discover God’s goodness and provisions in life’s challenging situations. 6-week study starts the week of June 4. Leader: Adam Bennett. This study is designed to help us turn to and grow closer to God. 6-week study meets Mondays, June 11 th to July 23 rd , 6:30-8pm (off July 4 th week). HAPPY SUMMER FROM WORSHIP ARTS! † Hey everyone! Things will be slowing down a little through the summer, but we are hopeful/ prayerful that you will all be praying about ways to get involved in Worship Arts when the end of summer/ fall rolls around!! Just a few notes: † Rockin’ Bells : Be watching for email updates. We will start back again probably in later Summer—for a fall performance! † Chancel Choir will be taking a full break for ALL of June and some of July. Watch for emails for information on when we will return! We’d love to have more family members in this group. Let me know if you’re interested in joining in later summer! † Joyful Noise (ages 7-11 choir) – Heather Dawson will run rehearsals throughout the Summer on Sundays at 4:30PM in room 110. Come join the fun! The kids will be working on fun curriculum and music! † Sonshine Kids (age 3-6 choir) – We are officially into spring. Traditionally spring means that we clean out the old and bring in the new. If you are having a hard time getting that clean, new start feeling because you are facing some tough times, maybe you could use a caring friend. That’s exactly what Stephen Ministry is all about. Stephen Ministers have committed a lot of time to training. They are not professional counselors or therapists, but they are very qualified to walk with will start up again soon on Sundays during the Sunday School Hour (watch the bulletin for the exact date of start up.) If you would like your child to participate, they will meet in the children’s wing and go through a fun-filled, age appropriate curriculum and music. They will perform 3-4 times per year. We give great thanks to Kenni Dwyer for volunteering to direct this group!! Please let me know if you have interest in your child joining! † VBS is coming soon and we need some more materials for decorations!! It is an underwater theme this year, and we are sooo excited with the creative things we can do!! We need greenery – underwater looking greenery (seaweed, moss, etc.) Craft stores have sprays and garlands of this type, or under-water looking greenery. We need as much as we can get! Also- we need more BLUE cellophane! This can be found at 5 craft stores as well! Thank you SO MUCH for all your donations!!
