Hall of Fame The Elyria Catholic Alumni Association is currently transforming the ECHS Distinguished Alumni Award to the ECHS Alumni Association Hall of Fame. This year, awards will not only be given out to Distinguished Alumni, but new categories have been added for one Outstanding Educator and one Exceptional Service Award. We need your help to make this venture a success. Please consider nominating someone in one of these categories for these prestigious recognitions. Criteria and a nomination form are included and are also available in the Main Office, Development Office or by calling (440) 365-1821, extension 34. ECHS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME CRITERIA ECHS Distinguished Alumni · The candidate must have graduated at least 5 years prior to selection. · The candidate may be active in a variety of fields, including but not limited to: medical, science and health; art and literature; entertainment; business and finance; government; education; humanities and athletics. · The candidate demonstrated leadership in his/her field in terms of career or philanthropic endeavors. · The candidate ignificantly impacted his/her area of expertise. · The candidate is recognized by their peers and community as a person of good moral character with high standards. ECHS Outstanding Educator · Teachers, coaches and/or administrators associated with Elyria Catholic High School who have distinguished themselves by outstanding achievement or contributions. · The candidate has had a significant positive impact on students, Elyria Catholic High School and the community. · May or may not be an Elyria Catholic Alum. ECHS Exceptional Service Award · Alumnus or friend of Elyria Catholic High School whose volunteer actions or achievements to Elyria Catholic High School are deserving of recognition. · Well-respected by students, peers, and the community. · Has had a significant positive impact on students, ECHS and the community.
