Manufactured from recycled newsprint and featuring a negative Global Warming Potential,
WARMCEL 500 is the first choice for environmentally-friendly building projects.
Carbon is sequestered when it is locked inside
the fabric of a material rather than being emitted
into the atmosphere as a greenhouse gas (such
as when newspapers release methane at landfill).
WARMCEL 500 sequesters more carbon within its
fabric – and therefore within buildings – than is used
in its manufacture, transport, installation and even
eventual removal, making it the ideal choice for a
sustainable future in construction.
In addition, all WARMCEL 500 products are 100%
reusable and recyclable, meaning once a building
has reached the end of its life, the insulation keeps

The product can be installed in a matter
of minutes and requires no specialised tools or

HATCHTHATCH has a declared thermal
conductivity of 0.039W/mK and is manufactured
with a CE certificate of conformity. It also
conforms to the General Product Safety
Regulations 2005 (s10 Consumer Protection
Act 1987) and is certified for reaction to fire in
accordance with BS 5852: 1982 Part 2.

An unprotected downlighter is an open path for energy to pass
from the living area and be lost into the loft space, negating the
airtight effect of the installed insulation.
A single downlighter can pass 20m 3 per hour at a standard 50Pa
pressure, which can prevent desired airtightness levels being
achieved - even if the rest of the building is perfectly airtight.
An unprotected downlighter can act as a hot chimney and
actually draw heated air from the room, plus the heat generated
by the lamp itself is also mainly lost into the loft space.
If a downlighter is not protected then insulation must be
removed from around it to prevent overheating: this produces a
significant gap in the insulation continuity and loss of heat.

WARMCEL Novia RV600 is a technologically advanced reflective air-tight vapour check membrane, designed for use as an air
leakage barrier and vapour control layer (AVCL) for all insulated walls, roofs and floors. By using new production processes,

NOVIA RB400 is a high quality, versatile, low cost reflective breather membrane for all pitched cold and warm roofs, and
insulated wall applications. When used in suitable constructions the membrane will deliver improved R and U values. The
product has excellent water resistance but still provides high breathability; it is strong yet lightweight and also complies with
EN 13501-1 fire classification grade E.
