additional level of home assistance. There are 18 serviced apartments which are designed for those<br />

who would like assistance with tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry and home maintenance, giving<br />

you more time to pursue your own interests and still maintain your independence.<br />

<strong>Greglea</strong> <strong>Village</strong>’s serviced apartments are smaller in size than the units and villas and offer a higher level<br />

of home and personal assistance, enabling you to live independently for longer. Serviced apartments<br />

are suitable for single living and provide a way for residents to enjoy an active social life and maintain<br />

a community connection without the need to move to aged care.<br />

The studio and one bedroom serviced apartments are located in the centre of the village, within the<br />

community centre and close to the dining room.<br />

Each studio apartment has a living area with ample room for a bed, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom.<br />

The one bedroom apartments have their own living area, kitchenette and separate bedroom with<br />

ensuite bathroom.<br />

• Medical administration of Webster packs by<br />

care staff *<br />

Each serviced apartment is fitted with a 24-hour emergency call system. Personal care staff are<br />

available on weekdays and after hours for peace of mind. A local doctor consults at the village on a<br />

weekly basis and a podiatrist regularly visits the village.*<br />

Meals and dining<br />

Residents enjoy a diverse and nutritious menu prepared daily by a cook in the village, with an<br />

emphasis on “home cooking”.<br />

For breakfast, continental ingredients are supplied to each apartment for preparation at residents’<br />

leisure. The main meal of the day is a two course lunch which is served in the dining room and a light<br />

meal is served in the early evening. Two pieces of fruit are provided each day for every serviced<br />

apartment resident.<br />

Our meals can be tailored to accommodate any dietary requirements. Your guests are welcome to<br />

join you for lunch in the dining room with prior notice to the cook.<br />

Costs<br />

All serviced apartments are occupied under a leasehold title. A monthly levy is payable to cover<br />

service costs. This levy covers all meals, housekeeping, including linen service and cleaning,<br />

administration, exterior building maintenance, insurance costs, staff salaries and access to the 24-hour<br />

emergency call system. Residents are responsible for their own electricity, phone, council, water and<br />

sewer access charges.<br />
