Greglea Village offers spacious units and villas with a variety of floor plans, aspects and locations.
The purpose-built one, two and three bedroom homes are suitable for couples and are spread
throughout the village. Most villas come with an attached lock-up garage with internal access.

Greglea Village offers a low maintenance lifestyle with easy access to local shops, services, attractions,
parks and reserves. Penshurst is located just 20 km from the Sydney CBD. Connection to greater Sydney
is easy with train and bus services nearby and the airport just minutes away.
With a range of social activities on-site and an abundance of recreational facilities around Greglea

Shopping and services
A variety of shops and services can be found within five kilometres of the village, at Penshurst and
Mortdale. Westfield Hurstville and Roselands Shopping Centre are a short trip away by car or public
transport where you can find department stores, medical services, banks, clubs, restaurants, churches,
legal and accounting services, a post office and many other retail shops.
St George Hospital is 10 minutes by car and Hurstville Community Private Hospital is just five minutes
drive away.
Recreation and leisure
Greglea Village is in a covenient location for those who enjoy an active lifestyle with several golf clubs,
a bowling club, tennis courts, gardens and parks close by. Georges River National Park is within five
kilometres of the village and has a large parkland area and public facilities, as well as netted swimming
baths and boat ramps.
Transport
The local private bus service has a stop at the village entrance and travels through neighbouring
suburbs including Penshurst, Hurstville and Bankstown.
Beverly Hills train station is easily accessible from the village and provides transport to other suburbs
in the area as well as to the rest of Sydney and surrounds.

Serviced apartment living
Serviced apartments offer all the benefits of being part of the Greglea Village community - with an
additional level of home assistance. There are 18 serviced apartments which are designed for those
who would like assistance with tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry and home maintenance, giving
you more time to pursue your own interests and still maintain your independence.
Greglea Village’s serviced apartments are smaller in size than the units and villas and offer a higher level
of home and personal assistance, enabling you to live independently for longer. Serviced apartments
are suitable for single living and provide a way for residents to enjoy an active social life and maintain
a community connection without the need to move to aged care.
The studio and one bedroom serviced apartments are located in the centre of the village, within the
community centre and close to the dining room.
Each studio apartment has a living area with ample room for a bed, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom.
The one bedroom apartments have their own living area, kitchenette and separate bedroom with
ensuite bathroom.

Serviced apartments are ideal for those over 55 years of age who:
• Would like to free themselves of the responsibilities of housework and home maintenance
• May be looking to downsize from their current home or retirement village unit
• Would like to live in a community environment for added security and social interaction
• Require additional assistance and support to live independently.
As a serviced apartment resident, you have full access to all the facilities and activities on offer at
Greglea Village.
Care and support
Services offered exclusively to serviced apartment residents include:
• Provision of three meals a day
• Laundering of bed linen and towels
• Weekly apartment cleaning
• Changing of bed linen*
• Medical administration of Webster packs by
care staff *
Each serviced apartment is fitted with a 24-hour emergency call system. Personal care staff are
available on weekdays and after hours for peace of mind. A local doctor consults at the village on a
weekly basis and a podiatrist regularly visits the village.*

Meals and dining
Residents enjoy a diverse and nutritious menu prepared daily by a cook in the village, with an
emphasis on “home cooking”.
For breakfast, continental ingredients are supplied to each apartment for preparation at residents’
leisure. The main meal of the day is a two course lunch which is served in the dining room and a light
meal is served in the early evening. Two pieces of fruit are provided each day for every serviced
apartment resident.
Our meals can be tailored to accommodate any dietary requirements. Your guests are welcome to
join you for lunch in the dining room with prior notice to the cook.

Costs
All serviced apartments are occupied under a leasehold title. A monthly levy is payable to cover
service costs. This levy covers all meals, housekeeping, including linen service and cleaning,
administration, exterior building maintenance, insurance costs, staff salaries and access to the 24-hour
emergency call system. Residents are responsible for their own electricity, phone, council, water and
sewer access charges.
Care options at your fingertips
As your care needs change over time you may require additional support to maintain your
independent lifestyle. We understand that many people want to stay in their own home for as long
as possible and that’s where Australian Unity’s home, community and lifestyle services can assist.
For a fee a range of community care services can be provided to you in your unit, villa or serviced
apartment including:
• In-home assistance such as cleaning, washing, ironing, meal preparation, shopping, banking,
bill payment and transport services.
• Personal care such as showering, dressing and medication assistance.
