Cascade Collegiate<br />
Conference<br />
<strong>Corban</strong> is a member of the<br />
Cascade Collegiate Conference and affiliated<br />
with the National Association of Intercollegiate<br />
<strong>Athletics</strong> (NAIA), competing in men’s baseball,<br />
basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and track &<br />
field, and women’s basketball, cross country, golf,<br />
soccer, softball, track & field and volleyball.<br />
Current conference members include The<br />
College of Idaho, Concordia <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Corban</strong><br />
College, Eastern Oregon <strong>University</strong>, The<br />
Evergreen State College, Northwest <strong>University</strong>,<br />
Northwest Christian <strong>University</strong>, Oregon Institute<br />
of Technology, Southern Oregon <strong>University</strong>, and<br />
Warner Pacific College. <strong>Corban</strong> has claimed 12<br />
conference titles since all the sports joined the<br />
CCC in 1994.<br />
The conference members participating in<br />
baseball include College of Idaho, Concordia,<br />
<strong>Corban</strong>, and Oregon Tech. These four institutions<br />
compete with fellow NAIA West Region<br />
opponents the <strong>University</strong> of British Columbia,<br />
Bethany <strong>University</strong>, Patten <strong>University</strong>, and<br />
Simpson <strong>University</strong> for the four berths to the<br />
NAIA West Region tournament, May 6-8, hosted<br />
by the regional regular season champion.<br />

National Association of<br />
Intercollegiate <strong>Athletics</strong><br />
The National Association of<br />
Intercollegiate <strong>Athletics</strong> (NAIA)<br />
currently administers programs<br />
of intercollegiate athletics at approximately<br />
300 fully accredited colleges and universities of<br />
moderate enrollment. The fundamental tenet<br />
of the NAIA is that intercollegiate athletics is an<br />
integral part of the total educational program of<br />
the institution.<br />
As the country=s oldest collegiate sports<br />
governing body, the NAIA has been a leader<br />
in addressing important issues such as racial<br />
integration, women=s sport championship<br />
programs, and improved academic eligibility<br />
requirements.<br />
There are presently 13 sport offerings and 23<br />
national championship opportunities within the<br />
NAIA. The national office of the NAIA is located<br />
