The brain of the TALOS system is
hidden in the HIT Handy. It controls
and monitors the entire TALOS
process and registers every action.
It is a real multi-talent mastering
40 different jobs perfectly. It talks
in everybody’s mother tongue and
it only has one single operating
button. The HIT Handy connects
with its software the delivery note,
the parcel and the shelf with each
other to control the picking process
and it adds full bundles and extra
deliveries to it. The HIT Handy helps
the picker/driver when loading the
vehicle, because it knows all the
parcels on his route. The driver
takes the HIT Handy on his wrist
with him on his route and the builtin
GPS navigation system tells him
the direction and distance to each
retailer and which parcels and full
bundles he has to unload at the
retailer’s premises. It registers the
whole route and all return parcels
from each customer.
Even the returns processing can be
done with the HIT Handy because
it knows the bar code of all copies
to collect.
