Enrolled Getting A-B Tech accepts applications throughout the school year. Early application is advised for many programs, especially allied health. (Specific information about applying for allied health programs can be found at abtech.edu.) SUBMIT an application SEND in your transcript TAKE the ACCUPLACER test SEE an Advisor Applications can be submitted online or forms can be downloaded from abtech.edu. Click on Students. Applicants can use the computers in the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Center on the Asheville campus. Go to abtech.edu/apply. Have an official copy of your final high school and other college transcripts sent to: Admissions Department A-B Tech 340 Victoria Road Asheville, NC 28801. To schedule an appointment, go to abtech.edu and click on Students, then Placement Test Scheduling. Students may exempt testing with specific SAT or ACT scores of greater than 500. Please refer to placement testing information on the web. Students with transfer credit in English and/or math may not be required to test. An advisor will review your scores after you take the placement tests and complete the process of admitting you to your desired program. This includes advising and preparing you for registration. Registration for Currently Enrolled or Former Student ➥➥ ➥➥ Registration time blocks are based on a student’s cumulative earned credits. (Hours in which the student is currently enrolled are not included.) Currently enrolled students will receive an e-mail with registration appointment information. You may also check your appointment time in WebAdvisor(Students->My Registration Appointment). ➥➥ Get your registration form and advisor’s signature well in advance of your registration time. For online registration, your advisor must create an education plan(ed-plan) for the term. Don’t forget your Ed Plan Payment Deadline is August 6 Students are not enrolled until all fees are paid by 12 noon Friday, August 6. You will have to re-register on a space-available basis if you miss the payment deadline. Pay in the Business Office Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Pay Online Make payments online at www.abtech.edu. E-payments using VISA, Mastercard, or American Express will be accepted until 12 noon Friday, August 6 for regular registration and 12 noon Tuesday, August 17 for late registrants.
