Background<br />

The objective was <strong>to</strong> move our ∼50GB <strong>MySQL</strong> database<br />

<strong>to</strong> <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>.<br />

Why? A bunch of reasons, but one of the most<br />

important was the availability of PostGIS.<br />
