Goodbye to James
James has been working with
Carers Support Merton for over 6
months as part of the governments
‗Future Jobs Fund‘ programme. He
has now completed his time with
us and leaves at the end of July.
We are all going to miss James as
he has been a fantastic member of
the team, helping us with all our IT
queries, working on our new database and building our
new website. We are very pleased for him as he has
secured a job in IT building new websites and wish him
lots of luck for his future.
James says…...
I have enjoyed my time here very much at CSM, it’s been a
great experience, and I am very thankful for the opportunity
to work here. I will miss everyone here. I have learnt a lot
from the training courses I have helped on and am very
thankful for that. I thank everyone at CSM, its been great
getting to know everyone.
Sometimes it’s hard to keep going when you’re a
carer.
If you are caring for someone it can be hard to think about
your own needs. You may have a specific issue or immediate
problem to work with, or want to think about your feelings
generally.
Our Counselling Service can provide the structure and
reflective space you need. You will be offered an initial
assessment meeting with the counsellor, to discuss your
needs and whether counselling is right for you, followed by
regular and confidential sessions. You can make a positive
difference to your life as a carer by taking the chance to share
your concerns and experiences and make sense of them. If
you would like to talk, get in touch! Please contact Susan
Bowman to request a booking: 020 8646 7515 Email
susan@csmerton.org
All our counsellors are on recognised training courses that
comply with the BACP Code of Ethics and Practice. We will
provide further details and discuss our Counselling Agreement
with you at your initial session.
