1997<br />

Dr. Chuck meets Mother Teresa on a trip to India<br />

Incorporation of The <strong>Timmy</strong> Foundation (March 6)<br />

<strong>Timmy</strong> becomes a publicly supported organization<br />

1998<br />

First Board of Directors meeting<br />

1999<br />

Julie Casey, first Executive Director, hired<br />

Dr. Chuck travels to Quito, Ecuador and meets Padre Carollo, beginning partnership with Fundacion Tierra Nueva.<br />

2000<br />

Dr. Chuck meets Dr. Marie Rene while on a trip to Haiti, beginning partnership with the Haitian Academy<br />

2001<br />

Scott Keller starts as new Executive Director<br />

First college chapter, IU <strong>Timmy</strong> Foundation Club<br />

2002<br />

First medical service trip to Honduras with IU <strong>Timmy</strong> Foundation Club, entirely orchestrated by the <strong>Timmy</strong> Foundation<br />

Dr. Chuck meets Scott Pegg, beginning partnership with Bebor School, Nigeria<br />

Dr. Chuck meets Jhon Paul Smith, beginning partnership with Poder Joven, Colombia<br />

First Public medical service trip to Ecuador<br />

2003<br />

First medical service trip to Jamaica with Hanover College pre-med students<br />

First medical and dental service trip to the Dominican Republic with IU <strong>Timmy</strong> Foundation Club<br />

<strong>Timmy</strong> begins sponsorship of full-time doctor at Haitian Academy Clinic<br />

Dedication of St. Luke’s Clinic at Haitian Academy<br />

Jessica Trimble hired as Volunteer and Missions Coordinator<br />

2004<br />

First medical service trips with University of Colorado at Boulder and Tufts University to the Dominican Republic<br />

First medical service trips with Ball State University and Purdue University students to Quito, Ecuador<br />

First High School service trip to Quito, Ecuador<br />

First College Retreat held in Indianapolis for college chapter leaders<br />

2005<br />

First Tufts University medical service trip to the Dominican Republic<br />

First DePauw University medical service trip to Quito, Ecuador<br />

Staff and Volunteers visit Poder Joven in Medellin, Colombia<br />

Exploratory medical trip to Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala to establish partnership with Pop-Wuj<br />

2006<br />

International Programs Coordinator, Chris Trani, hired<br />

<strong>Timmy</strong> expands staff to a total of three employees with the hire of Adam Clevenger as Associate Director for Development<br />

Moved into the new building located at 22 E. 22nd Street, Indianapolis<br />

2007<br />

First Davidson College medical service trip to Quito, Ecuador<br />

Celebrated 10 Year Anniversary on March 6, 2007<br />

First medical service trip to Xela, Guatemala with Ball State University<br />

First medical service trip to Santo Domingo, Ecuador with University of Kentucky<br />

First Butler University medical service trip to Xela, Guatemala<br />
