History 

Hayn Enterprises started in a chicken coop/garage pre 1960 (known 

then as C.O. Hayn Tool & Mfg. Co.) by a machinist who was losing 

his job because of his companies relocation. He dreamed of being 

his own boss and supporting his family. That dream, now in it’s 

second generation some 50 years later, has flourished into a world 

class manufacturing facility. 

Who We Are 

Hayn is a leading force in manufacturing turnbuckles and cable 

hardware for the Marine, Architectural, & Industrial fields. Our 

state of the art facility is highly automated with the most advanced 

equipment available to allow us to compete worldwide. We take 

pride in producing the highest quality components possible to meet 

our customer’s needs. 

Custom 

Hayn also produces custom solutions for our customers and 

other manufacturers. Our services now include Water Jet cutting 

technology for plate work up to 6 inches thick in virtually any 

material. Machining Center work including, Milling, Drilling, & 

Tapping with our machining center. From bar to plate, Hayn can 

find a solution for you.

Specializing in 316 Grade Stainless Steel. Our specialty is Swiss 

turn, 7 Axis high speed machining from bar to 38mm (1-1/2"). 

Automated Mill Drill machining, 5 Axis from bar to 63mm (2-1/2"). 

WaterJet Cutting in plate to 6", metal, plastic, wood, stone, rubber... 

Machining Center work, 5 Axis 20"x40" table, Milling, Drilling, 

Tapping, Sawing, etc.

(no exceptions please). 

Pricing (wholesale only): All prices shown in this catalog/price list are list prices. Please call for your discount and 

trade terms. Pricing is subject to change without notice, but every effort will be made to hold prices for the catalog year. 

Payment: Payment terms are net 30 days to established accounts. Prepayment or C.O.D. shipment is 

requested for first time orders or until account terms are established. We also accept all major Credit Cards for 

your convenience. If your account is not kept current you will be put on C.O.D. and a 1-1/2% finance charge 

will be added per month until your balance is paid. Payment discounts will not be allowed on invoices with account 

balances over the 30 day terms. 

Freight: Freight and insurance charges will be added to invoice when shipped. You are responsible for all charges. 

Our C.O.D. fee is $22.00 net. All small package ground and air shipments can be made with either UPS or FedEx. 

Larger shipments may be sent through a common carrier. Shipments with other carriers may incur additional charges. 

Returns: Returns are never a problem. If you have ordered in error you may be subject to a restocking charge 

depending on parts ordered. Please call for an RA number before making any returns. Because of rapid product 

improvements, only current inventory will be accepted. Please try to return items as quickly as possible. Special 

ordered items may not be returnable.

[ 5 - 10 ] Forged Bronze Turnbuckle Assemblies 

Forged bronze turnbuckle bodies with 316 grade stainless steel end 

fittings retain the desired qualities of strength and corrosion resistance 

while providing superb non-galling properties. 

[ 11 - 17 ] Tubular Turnbuckle Assemblies 

Tubular turnbuckles manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel offered 

in a variety of end fitting choices including “T-Bolt” style toggle jaws as 

well as “Eye” toggles. All assemblies include locking hex nuts. 

[ 20 - 27 ] Hi-MOD Compression Fittings 

The latest development in compression fitting design results in an easy 

to use, reusable termination with a minimum strength equal to the rated 

breaking load of the wire rope. 

[ 28 ] Adjusters, Shroud Adjusters and Stay Extenders 

Assemblies made from 316 grade stainless steel designed to offer 

minimal adjustment quickly and without the use of tools.

An excellent combination of stainless steel and bronze, retaining the qualities of strength and corrosion resistance 

while adding an exceptional non-galling feature. All bodies up to and including 3/4" are available in highly polished 

chrome or plain bronze for the traditional look (for un-chromed, simply add “B” to the end of the part number). 

Please note that both the 7/8" and 1.0" versions are available in “highly polished chrome” only and are fully 

machined from bar material, not forged. All end fittings are crafted from 316 grade stainless steel. Swage style 

end fittings are standard with “swageline” depth indicator, wrench flats, and size identification.

swageless terminal on the market today. 

Produced by Petersen Stainless Rigging in 

the UK and distributed exclusively by Hayn 

Marine in the USA, the Hi-Mod mechanical 

terminal is the latest advancement in 

swageless fittings. These terminals have 

a unique crown ring that assures the wires 

stay evenly spaced around the fitting, 

eliminating the need to bend the wires, 

assures the cone is in the proper place, and 

keeps the strands from dropping into the 

cone slot. These advantages combined 

Our cone is manufactured from 316 

stainless steel and is fully re-usable, 

allowing for easy inspection and re-use 

without having to replace anything. 

The crown ring is manufactured from 

aluminum bronze. 

With the use of these materials, we do not 

require the use of sealant in our fittings. 

You can, however, fill them with a non-acidic 

polysulfide or better marine-grade sealant.

Failsafe Insulator 

Utilizing the same features that have made the Hi-Mod Mechanical 

fittings popular, this insulator has an internal ball-socket in the main 

body that threads onto the connecting stud. The nut is insulated from 

the stainless steel body by a Tufnol socket, preventing electrical 

transference to the insulator body or opposite terminal. Should, for 

any reason, the Tufnol be compromised, the nut will bottom out 

against the stainless housing. While the backstay will loosen, the 

insulating studs will remain attached to the insulator body. This 

allows the rig to be re-tensioned until a repair can be made.

[ 33, 35, 36 ] Closed Tubular Turnbuckle Assemblies 

Closed style turnbuckle bodies crafted from 316 grade stainless steel featuring 

forged stainless steel “T-Bolt” toggles. Assemblies include stainless steel 

locking nuts. All end fittings are crafted from 316 grade stainless steel. 

[ 34, 35 ] Forged Bronze Turnbuckle Assemblies 

Forged bronze body with forged stainless steel “T-Bolt” toggles. Here is an 

excellent combination of stainless and bronze, retaining to qualities of strength 

and corrosion resistance while adding an excellent non-galling feature. All 

bodies are standard in highly polished chrome or plain bronze for the traditional 

look (for un-chromed, simply add “B” to the end of the part number). 

[ 36, 37 ] Deck Toggle Hardware 

Deck toggles feature a flat mounting surface with two screw holes for deck 

mounting. Assemblies permit a full 180 degree range of toggling action. 

[ 40, 41 ] Toggle Jaws, Gate Eyes, and Termination Studs 

Toggles assemblies feature forged “T-Bolt” toggles and applicable pins/rings. 

Gate eyes are investment cast reflecting an electro-polish finish.

fittings when properly installed, develop approximately 70% of

HANDY CRIMP INSTRUCTIONS 

Step #1, make sure you have the proper

end position and pull cable tightly along side 

to measure for cut as shown in fig#3 

Step #6, repeat steps #2 & #3 for end fitting 

Step #7, be sure to check all crimps with 

micrometer or gauge supplied!!!
