ST. ANN’S ANNUAL NOVENA
The Annual Novena to St. Ann will take place at St. Ann’s
Church, 120 Sherman Ave. North in Hamilton beginning
Thursday, July 18 th and concludes Friday, July 26 th , the Feast
of St. Ann. Each day (including Saturday & Sunday) at 7pm
there will be Mass, novena prayers, homily and blessing with
the relic of St. Ann as well as confessions following the Mass
with the exception of the concluding Mass. Preaching the
Novena this year will be Father Joseph Durkacz, Pastor of St.
Ann’s in Hamilton. The Most Reverend Anthony Tonnos, DD,
Bishop Emeritus of Hamilton will celebrate the concluding
Mass on Friday, July 26 th at 7pm. All are welcome to this
longstanding and blessed event that has been taking place for
over 100 years.

MARRIAGE TIP OF THE MONTH
Love is a commitment, one that has
bright days, gray days and everything
in-between days. When we persevere
and work through our struggles in
positive ways, our relationship grows
stronger and more resilient. When we
understand that God is with us in our
marriage, it reminds us that we are
never alone. As Paul wrote to the Philippians, “I can do
all things through him who strengthens me.” (4:13)
When we turn to God together in daily prayer, our love
grows and deepens and is capable of handling any day
that comes our way.
PERSONS SEPARATED AND DIVORCED
LEARNING TO COPE (LEVEL 1) is a ten week support
program starting on Tuesday, September 17 th (7:00 pm to
9:30 pm), at the Chancery Office, 700 King St. W, Hamilton.
The program is for persons experiencing difficulties as a
result of separation or divorce. For more information,

ext. 2249. Cost: $35. Past participants are encouraged to
inquire about further Level programs starting the same
week.
