CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS:
The contribution statements through June 30th have been sent out by email or printed copies are in
your boxes. Please review them and let me know if there are any corrections. As happens each year,
contributions fall behind during the summer. Please remember that the expenses of the church
continue and try to keep your pledges and payments up to date.

FORWARD DAY BY DAY:
The August - October Day By Day is now available. You may pick up a copy of this daily
devotional in the Narthex.
FOOD PANTRY:
Although there was a community-wide food drive to support the Food Pantry
in early May, the reserves are rapidly being depleted. During July, we will focus
on collecting canned vegetables and canned fruit. As always, though, donations
of any food items will be greatly appreciated and put to good use.
WE NEED YOUR BOOKS:
The Fleaz Market and Book Sale will be on Saturday, August 24. Start bringing in
your books. You can drop them in the barrel located in the Narthex. The Fleaz Market
and Book Sale will take place in the Church Parking Lot. Rental is $20 for one space
and $35 for two. We encourage you to bring your “stuff” to sell, but NO CLOTHING.
This is a rain or shine event. The young people from the Church will be providing food
and beverage during this event. For more information, please contact Nancy Machmer

SODA FUND AND THE YOUTH PILGRIMAGE:
In 2014, members of our senior youth have plans to go on the Diocesan
Youth Pilgrimage to Canterbury, England. To support them, all proceeds
from the sales of sodas and water will be put aside to help defray the cost of
this trip. Look for other coming opportunities to support them in raising
funds for their trip. We all should be a part of this.
