The flowers today are given by Bob and Yasmine Koss in celebration of
their daughter Serra’s birthday.
WELCOME:
Once again, we are happy to have The Reverend Nathaniel Pyron as our Celebrant and Preacher.

ANNUAL WINE TASTING:
The Fellowship Committee invites all adults to St. Michael’s Annual Wine Tasting
on Saturday, August 18 at 6:30 p.m. Please bring a bottle of wine for tasting. For
more information, please contact Bill Dusenbery at 398-1456.
FOOD PANTRY:
During August we are focusing on donations of Noodles and Rice of all kinds, Powdered Fruit
Drink Mix and Cake Mix and Frosting. Donations of any food items will be greatly appreciated
and put to good use.

ST. MICHAEL'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH “FLEAZ MARKET”:
St. Michael’s will hold a “Fleaz Market” on Saturday, August 25, from 7:30
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in our church parking lot.
We are seeking STUFF . . . COLLECTIBLES and FURNITURE. Reserve
your space. To participate, the fee is $20.00 each per rented area (the size
of a parking spot in the parking lot). For two spaces the cost is $35.00. You
are responsible for cleanup of your area at the end of the event and,
please, take the unsold items home. A six-foot table is available for rent at $10.00 each.
St. Michael’s members may choose to either donate their items to a St. Michael’s space with the sales
going directly to the church, or they may rent a space for the $20.00. Everything else would apply
to them and anyone else participating.
A commercial shredding truck will also be on site to destroy any discarded important and private
paperwork you may have. No fee, just bring canned goods as a donation for the O'Fallon Food
Pantry.
Hot dogs, bottled water, and soda will be for sale. This project will be hosted by the teenagers and
they will donate 20% of their proceeds to the Outreach program and will keep the rest for their
fellowship use.

HAIL DAMAGE:
As a result of the hail storm on April 28, we are very fortunate to have a new roof on the building and
completely rebuilt air-conditioning units (all four of them). Total costs of approximately $72,000.
Insurance paid for everything except for our deductible of $500. In addition, we have had to have
hail guards built and installed on all four air-conditioning units at our cost of $3,150. We look
forward to enjoying our new enhancements.
