I am delighted to announce that Premier Tennis Travel and Necker Island will be hosting the 2 nd annual Necker Cup, the<br />

world’s most exclusive Pro-Am Tennis event, held on my very own private island, Necker. Last year’s event was a great<br />

success and raised over $1,000,000 for worthy charities.<br />

This year’s event takes place November 12th through the 16th, with loads of fun planned each day. Island activities include<br />

paddle boarding, kite boarding, sailing, snorkeling, and our most recent addition, beach tennis! Your experience will include an<br />

all-inclusive five-day, four-night stay in one of my private Bali Houses or in the recently rebuilt Great House.<br />

This year’s tennis pro-am will be expanded from a 10 to a 16 team draw with two flights based on ability, making it more<br />

competitive for everybody. You will be paired up with either an ATP or WTA current or former player to compete for the 2013<br />

Necker Cup.<br />

On the evening of November 15th, you will be treated to a world class tennis exhibition, dinner, and auction benefiting Virgin<br />

Unite, The National Tennis Foundation and several player charities. We close out your experience with the “End of the World<br />

Party” which will rock into the early hours. All of the festivities will be held on Necker Island this year!<br />

Necker Cup Pro-Am<br />

ATP /WTA Tour Players/Legends will be paired up with<br />

sixteen amateur teams of all levels, who will compete in this<br />

fun, spirited tennis event.<br />

Great House<br />

The Necker Island Great House is back and better than ever!<br />

Featuring ten rooms and breathtaking views, guests will be<br />

some of the first to ever experience Necker’s new home.<br />

Island Activities<br />

As well as great tennis, participants can engage in typical<br />

Necker Island activities like paddle boarding, pilates, sailing,<br />

kite boarding, wake boarding, snorkeling, scuba diving,<br />

massage therapy, beach tennis, parties and more.<br />

Format & Rules<br />

A handicapped scoring format will make it competitive for<br />

all tennis levels. Teams consist of one pro and up to two<br />

amateurs. Teams compete to win their bracket and earn a<br />

chance to play in the Necker Cup Final!<br />

The Cause<br />

A portion of event profits and 100% of all live and silent<br />

auction proceeds go to Virgin Unite, The National Tennis<br />

Foundation, and other leading ATP/WTA player charities.<br />

What's New in 2013<br />

The “New” Great House<br />

On August 22, 2011, a fire took place on Necker Island tragically destroying the Great House and its eight rooms and<br />

suites. The rebuild of the Great House will be completed in August 2013 and the result will be very similar to the original<br />

structure, with some new and innovative touches of course!<br />

The new Great House will feature ten rooms<br />

that include a Master Suite and a Bunk<br />

Room. Its imperial main room will be the location for<br />

this year’s Charity Dinner and Auction.<br />

Expanded Draw Including both ATP and WTA Players<br />

This year we will have both ATP and WTA Tour Players and Legends of the game as part of the 2013 Necker Cup. We<br />

have also expanded the draw from 10 to 16 Amateur Teams that will be broken into two flights.

We are proud to report that the Necker Cup helped raise over $1,000,000 for The National Tennis Foundation, Virgin Unite, The<br />

British Virgin Islands Lawn Tennis Association, the Novak Djokovic Foundation, the Bryan Brothers Foundation and the John &<br />

Patty McEnroe Foundation. This year we hope to have equal success through our Charity Exhibition, Dinner, Auction and<br />

Party, which will be held on Necker Island on November 15 th , 2013. 100% of all money raised through the Live and Silent<br />

Auction and a percent of Necker Cup event profits go directly to affiliated charities.<br />

ATP / WTA Pro Tennis Exhibition<br />

The 2012 exhibition matches featured the World # 1 Doubles Team of Bob and Mike Bryan taking on Grand Slam legends Mark<br />

Knowles and Murphy Jensen. This doubles event was followed by a singles match featuring World #1 Novak Djokovic vs.<br />

Tommy Haas. Sir Richard Branson, Jelena Ristic and local BVI ball kids joined in for some fun after the match. Spectators<br />

received courtside seating, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while they enjoyed the perfect Caribbean weather.<br />

Dinner, Silent & Live Auction<br />

The 2012 auction dinner was the event to remember. Guests mixed and mingled with Sir Richard Branson, ATP / WTA Necker<br />

Cup pros and participants at the “End of the World” dinner and auction. The auction alone raised more than $500,000 as<br />

guests bid on top tennis experiences, memorabilia, and travel packages as they relaxed with competitors, friends and new<br />

acquaintances. 100% of proceeds went to Virgin Unite, The National Tennis Foundation, and other ATP / WTA player charities.<br />

Every guest received a surprise invitation from Sir Richard Branson to join him on Necker Island for a<br />

bash with the Bryan Bros Band featuring Mike, Bob & Wayne Bryan, Counting Crow’s Jim Bogios and<br />

American Idol’s Michael Johns.


2013 Necker Cup Package<br />

Player Package is for two (2) Amateurs in the Necker Cup. Participants will have the unique opportunity to stay on Necker<br />

Island.<br />

Package Price<br />

$100,000 for two (2) people, with $10,000 of the price made payable to the National Tennis Foundation as a charitable<br />

donation for the Charity Exhibition, Dinner, Auction and “End of the World” Party that benefits The National Tennis<br />

Foundation, Virgin Unite and leading ATP/WTA player foundations. The National Tennis Foundation is a 501(c)(3)<br />

organization and part of your contribution to The Necker Cup Charity Event may qualify as a charitable deduction for U.S.<br />

federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is deductible.<br />

Package Includes:<br />

• All meals and drinks (including all alcoholic beverages)<br />

• Transfers to/from Virgin Gorda or Beef Island airports<br />

Registration Rules for the 2013 Necker Cup. Based on receiving payment in full by bank wire.<br />

Registration for Necker Cup Participants, July 1 st – October 15 th , 2013<br />

• Pick your Villa / Room: Bali House/ Room selection will be based on a first paid in full, first choice basis.<br />

• Pick your Player: WTA / ATP Player partner selection will also be based on a first paid in full, first choice basis.<br />

Partner selection will take place at the welcome dinner on the first evening.<br />

• Team Package Price: Standard Registration Fee for the 2013 Necker Cup is $100,000 for two (2) people.<br />

• Charitable Contribution/Tax Deduction: $10,000 of your Necker Cup Team Package Price will be payable to the<br />

National Tennis Foundation as a charitable donation for the Charity Exhibition, Dinner, Auction and “End of the<br />

World” Party that benefits The National Tennis Foundation, Virgin Unite and leading ATP/WTA player foundations.<br />

The National Tennis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and part of your contribution to The Necker Cup Charity<br />

Event may qualify as a charitable deduction for U.S. federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax<br />

Early Registration Rules<br />

Early Registration is an exclusive offer for returning 2012 Necker Cup amateur participants only.<br />

The following registration rules apply for the 2013 Necker Cup, based on receiving payment in full by bank wire.<br />

Early Registration is Open to 2012 Necker Cup Participants from June 1 st – June 30 th 2013<br />

• Invite Your Friends: Early Registration will be open exclusively to last year’s Necker Cup Attendees from 10:00 am<br />

June 1 st - June 30 th , 2013. During this time you will have the ability to invite any of your friends to participate in the<br />

2013 Necker Cup or WTT Legends Tennis Camp at nearby Rosewood Little Dix Bay.<br />

• Pick your Villa / Room: Bali House/ Room selection will be on a first paid in full, first served basis, established by<br />

the date & time bank wire is received.<br />

• Pick your Player: All returning guests who pay in full on or before June 15 th , 2013 will be entered into a lottery to<br />

select their ATP / WTA pros at the the welcome dinner on the first evening.<br />

• No Team Package Price Increase: For all participants of the 2012 inaugural Necker Cup, there will not be an<br />

increase from last year’s price of $95,000 for the (2 person) Team Travel Package Price. This special price will also<br />

be available to your friends who pay in full during the initial registration period. All participants who register during<br />

Standard Reservation Dates will be charged the new rate of $100,000.<br />

On July 1st, 2013 registration will open to the public and we anticipate that the few remaining spots will book quickly.


Frequently Asked Questions<br />

Q. Can I come alone?<br />

A. Yes, of course. However, you will be required to pay the<br />

full price of a package.<br />

Q. Can a spouse or companion come? Can they play on<br />

my team?<br />

A. Yes they can. Each team can have up to two amateurs<br />

paired with a pro. The Necker Cup will include two full<br />

days of tennis and your team can decide who will play<br />

each round with your pro. Please note that you cannot<br />

switch team members in the middleof a match.<br />

Q. Can more than two people play on a Necker Cup<br />

Pro-Am Team?<br />

A. We are willing to pair up two singles, but mutual<br />

introductions will need to be made in advance to ensure<br />

compatibility.<br />

Q. How much time will Sir Richard Branson spend with<br />

us?<br />

A. Richard will be participating in all major event activities<br />

such as the “End of the World” Party and Auction. He will<br />

also be a Celebrity Pro during the Necker Cup.<br />

Q. How do you assign Pros?<br />

A. Pros are picked by lottery during the welcome dinner,<br />

based on the order reservations were received with<br />

full payment.<br />

Q. How are accommodations selected?<br />

A. Accommodations are picked in order reservations<br />

were received with full payment. Guests can select<br />

preferred room or villa based on remaining<br />

availability.<br />

Q. What is the attire for the trip?<br />

A. Beach casual for all activities including Charity<br />

Exhibition, Dinner and Party.<br />

Q. Can children attend the Necker Cup?<br />

A. The Necker Cup is designed for adult guests and<br />

activities may not be suitable for minors. However,<br />

with an additional charge, guests may bring children<br />

based on room / villa type and availability.
