Dr. Charles
Dassance
is serving
as interim
president
of Colorado
Mountain College, an 11-location
community college in north central
Colorado. He began this work in
February. He is former president
of two community colleges and
previously served community
colleges in Florida, New York,
Maryland, Virginia and Kentucky.
1968
Jack Huckel
was elected
president of
the National
Soccer Coaches
Association of
America (NSCAA). The NSCAA has
more than 30,000 members who
coach both genders at all levels of
the sport.
1970
Tom Shearer has been hired as
general manager of Aggressive
Grinding Service, Inc., in
Latrobe, Pa. He is responsible
for the company’s daily business
operations as well as sales and
marketing. He is an author
and has written numerous
technical articles.
1971
James Bowley is now division
president for Matheson

Calif. He will oversee growth
of its two companies that offer
remediation services and special
handling of hazardous and nonhazardous
materials.
1972
Bonnie (Boak) Lewis retired in June
from the YWCA of Westmoreland
County (Pa.). In her 24 years as
executive director, she oversaw
five capital campaigns, along
with property expansion and
construction of a new thrift
shop. In 2000, she received the
Winner’s Circle Athena Award
that honors community leaders
and mentors.
Raymond Woloszyn was promoted
to legal entity controller and
director, TE Connectivity
Ukraine. He will be based in
the Western Ukrainian city
of Ivano-Frankivsk and will
oversee financial operations at a
manufacturing operation there and
a representative office in Kiev. He
has worked for TE Connectivity
(formerly AMP, Inc., Tyco
Electronics) since 1979.
1974
Bev (Reilly) Wehrheim was elected
to a second term on the board of
directors of The Villages Musical
Company, a non-profit organization
that produces Broadwaystyle
musicals in The Villages
retirement community in central
Florida. She serves as treasurer
and also performs with the group.
Her latest role in April 2013
was that of Carrie Pipperidge in
“Carousel.” She also performed
the roles of Gypsy Rose Lee in
“Gypsy” and Annie Oakley in
“Annie Get Your Gun.”
