Policy Research Institute as an<br />

associate scholar in the Project<br />

on Democratic Transitions in<br />

March. Her article on the failure<br />

of the color revolutions in Georgia,<br />

Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan was<br />

published by Foreign Policy,<br />

also in March.<br />

Matthew Holman earned his<br />

Ph.D. in English Literature and<br />

Criticism from Indiana University<br />

of Pennsylvania in May 2012.<br />

His dissertation topic was “Rust<br />

Belt Gothic Fiction.” He has<br />

been teaching undergraduate<br />

writing classes at IUP for the<br />

past two years.<br />

Allison Metz and<br />

Taylor Smith<br />

were married<br />

Nov. 2, 2012, in<br />

Kittanning, Pa.<br />

They currently<br />

reside in Louisville, Ky. Allison is<br />

a senior research technologist for<br />

the Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury<br />

Research Center at the University<br />

of Louisville. Taylor is a systems<br />

analyst, also at the university.<br />

Feb. 16, 2013.<br />

They now reside<br />

N.J. Kristen is a senior financial<br />

analyst at Campbell Soup and<br />
