Description:<br />
<strong>Sabre</strong> ® <strong>Aspen</strong> is a male selection of large tooth aspen that has attractive<br />
coarsely toothed green leaves that emerge as a velvety purple/red colour,<br />
clear, smooth bark and an upright crown form. <strong>Sabre</strong> ® consistently<br />
displays a golden yellow fall colour.<br />

Culture:<br />
<strong>Sabre</strong> ® grows best in rich and well drained soils and in full sun. Some<br />
chlorosis occurs in high alkaline soils (similar to Swedish <strong>Aspen</strong>).<br />

Pest and Disease: Good resistance to pests, medium-high tolerance to shoot blight.<br />
