Greetings my Brothers one and all,
I would like to start by congratulating our newest Master
Masons, Brothers Anderson, Falzone and Liddle. Also I would
like to thank our officers for doing such a good job with the
Degree. My year is almost up and I would like to thank all of
the brethren for their support this last year. It has been a
privilege and a honor sitting in the East and I want to
thank all of you for your vote of confidence in me.
In closing I would like to tell you a bit of my past. I come from
Louisville Kentucky with a rich Masonic history. I have a long
line of Masons from both sides of the family, the Lewisburg
Lodge in Kentucky where my family roots come from was
founded in 1855.My Great Grandfather John Williams born in
1834, and my Great Uncles William Phillips born in 1872 and
his brother Thomas Phillips born in 1878 were all members of
this little Lodge. My father Claude L. Phillips was Worshipful
Master of the Anthony Lodge 455 in Springfield Ohio in 1962
which was the year I was born. The first mason he raised to
the sublime degree of Master Mason was my older brother
Barry Lee Phillips. The gavel that my father used ,I also used
when we voted Barry into our Lodge. Also the gavel was used
by our Most Grand Worshipful Master Jorge L. Aladro during
his Grand Lodge visitation this summer.

and the great works that we provide through our
charitable organizations.
