<strong>10</strong> <strong>Downing</strong> <strong>Street</strong> is an economic policy simulator in which players adopt the role of Prime Minister of the<br />
United Kingdom. The simulation is based around a series of videos with students playing through 6 turns<br />
in an attempt to avoid recession and bring economic stability to the country.<br />

In each turn, students are shown a video detailing a dilemma that the Prime Minister must deal with.<br />
Three government advisors provide their opinions and students then vote as to which direction should<br />
be followed. After voting, a second video for the turn provides feedback and explains how the economy<br />
reacted to the steps taken.<br />

Players form teams of some 3 or 4 students per team and place their votes through their computer.<br />
After each turn the central projector of the classroom shows a poll which evaluates the class’<br />
performance using the opinions of IE professors and people of interest.<br />
