Objectives
When customers are planning on implementing an Application Performance Monitoring (APM) initiative,
it’s very important to understand how APM will change the organization, roles within that organization,
and the new workflows for those roles that will result from the adoption of APM. The objective of this
document is to help Foglight customers understand the roles and responsibilities of various types of
APM Users and Administrators. We outline the training options available to assist stakeholders with
developing a training plan for Foglight Users and Administrators in their organization. We also provide a
job description for a Foglight Administrator role and present a description of their responsibilities.
