Prerequisite: Medical Terminology I or equivalent; Medical Terminology II required<br />
Learn the basics of CPT coding and how to use the current procedural terminology<br />
2009 manual: a listing of descriptive terms and identifying codes necessary<br />
for billing medical services and procedures. This course is essential for anyone<br />
working in the medical billing and coding fields. Emphasis will be on learning how<br />
to use the CPT manual and selecting the appropriate codes. Textbook required:<br />
