Exercise 1A 至 Exercise 5D
( 數 學 科 將 於 十 月 舉 行 有 關 內 容 之 測 驗 , 分 數 將 計 算 入 上 學 期 平 時 分 內 。)
( 重 讀 生 及 買 舊 書 的 同 學 需 於 九 月 初 經 本 校 訂 購 〈Student’s Resource Pack〉,
因 書 局 不 會 單 售 此 練 習 。)

Re: Summer Vacation Exercises
Students are encouraged to make meaningful use of the summer vacation by participating in
extra-curricular activities and doing a suitable amount of exercises during the holidays.
(A) Content
1. Summer Holiday Exercise
(Students have to purchase the following books on their own)
English: Summer Adventure in English A Foundation Course P6 to S1 – Esther Sham
(Hong Kong Educational Publishing Co.)
Mathematics: Exercise 1A to 5D in “Student’s Resource Pack”, which is provided free of
charge when the textbook “New Trend Mathematics (Second Edition)” is
purchased. There will be a test in October covering the above exercises. The
marks of the test will be counted as part of the daily marks in the first term.
Repeaters and students purchasing second-hand textbooks should order the
“Student’s Resource Pack” through our school in September, since the
Student’s Resource Pack cannot be bought separately in bookstores.
2. Writing Exercise
Chinese:
Topic: 「 我 是 沙 崇 人 」(Chinese composition paper attached)
Word Limit: Not less than 350 words (including the punctuation marks)
(The marks of the work will be counted as part of the daily marks in the
first term.)
3. Supplementary reading
Students have to borrow the following books during the summer holiday and complete the
book sharing worksheets for Chinese and English subjects.
