Kildare, Ireland. The Baron was the DeputyLieutenant & J.P. for County Kildare Ireland. For many years he
served as the Queens Ranger (c1880) at the Curragh.Now famous as the H.Q. of Irish horse racing.

Hepper’s key electric key transmitters was invented by Major (later Sir Lawless) Hepper, Signal Engineer,
Ex North Western Railways to replace key interlocking by hand, he eventually became the General Manager of
the Ex Great Indian Peninsular Railway.
