Services were Saturday at the Lincoln First Baptist Church<br />
with the· Rev. Earl Adams and the Rev. Jim Pelley<br />
officiating. Burial was in Dutch Mills Cemetery under the<br />
direction of Luginbucl Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.<br />

Funeral services for Elven F. Cheatham. 71, of Lincoln.<br />
Arkansas, were held Tuesday, May 11. at the Hart Funeral<br />
Home with Rev. Paul Young officiating. He was born Oct.<br />
20. 1921 to Earl and Della Cheatham in Lincoln, Ark. He<br />
died May 9, 1993 at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville,<br />
Ark.<br />
He served in the Army during World War II. receiving the<br />
following ribbons and medals; WW II Victory Ribbon,<br />
Bronze Star Medal. Purple Heart, Philippine Liberation<br />
Ribbon, two Bronze Service Stars, AP Theater Ribbon with<br />
two Bronze Service Stars and one Bronze Arrowhead. He<br />
was a retired road grader operator and resident of Lincoln,<br />
Ark. He was married on Sept. 5, 1947 to Wilma Moore in<br />
Lincoln. llis parents, two sisters, and one brother precede<br />
him in death.<br />
Funeral service \Vas held Dece1nber 16, 1988, at the<br />
Luginbucl Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas by Rev.<br />
Shirley Ford with burial in the Cheatham Cemetery in<br />
Lincoln, Arkansas.<br />

Claude Miller <strong>Snodgrass</strong>, 88, died February 4, 1987 m<br />
Sacramento, California. He is survived by Versa <strong>Snodgrass</strong><br />
of Sacramento; a brother. Bruce <strong>Snodgrass</strong> of Guthrie,<br />
Oklahoma; three sisters. Pearl Johnston of Bellflower.<br />
California, and Elsie Pasley and Muriel Leach, both of<br />
Lincoln, Arkansas. He was a former resident of Lincoln and<br />
a 50 year member of the Lincoln Lodge #615 F. and A.M.<br />
Funeral services were under the direction of the Lodi<br />
Funeral Home in Lodi, California.<br />

Guy Allen Recd, 78, of Snowflake, Ariz .. died March 21,<br />
2000, at Snowflake. Born April 9, 1921, at Dutch Mills, he<br />
was the son of Joseph and Myrtle Hargrove Reed. He was a<br />
mason and a member of the VFW.<br />
Survivors include his wife. Ethel Reed, of Snowflake; two<br />
daughters. Frances D. Hutton, of South Brunswick, S.C., and<br />
Anita Brewer, of Obcrgaard, AZ; one son, Richard Allen<br />
Reed, of Newman, Calif.; ten grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildrcn.<br />
Survivors include: his wife, Wilma Cheatham, of Lincoln,<br />
Ark.; one son, Gary Cheatham of Lincoln, Ark.; two<br />
daughters, Vickie Hansen and Penny Ball of Lincoln, Ark.;<br />
six grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, Vol,<br />
J. F., and Jackie Cheatham of Lincoln; five sisters, Ida Mae<br />
Choate, Pauline Batson, Helen Fritch, Frances Baer and<br />
Flossie Bequette, all of Lincoln, Ark.; and a host of friends<br />
and loved ones.<br />
Pallbearers were: Johnny Cheatham, Jimmy Huffaker,<br />
Keith Baer, Tommy Batson, Billy D. Choate, and Doug<br />
Moore. I Ionorary pallbearer was Cecil Swain. Burial was in<br />
the Lincoln Cemetery under the direction of the Hart Funeral<br />
Home.<br />

Annie May Cheatham, 76, a resident of Lincoln, died<br />
December 14, 1988, at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born<br />
February 18, 1912, at Prairie Grove, the daughter of David<br />
and Lucy King Kirkland. She attended the Church of God in<br />
Lincoln.<br />
Survivors include her husband, James A. Cheatham, of<br />
Fayetteville; a brother, John T. Kirkland of Mountain Grove,<br />
Missouri; and one sister, Linda Camey, of Fayetteville,<br />
Arkansas.<br />
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 17, 2000, at 11<br />
a.m. at the Luginbucl Chapel in Prairie Grove, officiating by<br />
Paul Young. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery, at<br />
Dutch Mills.<br />

Myrtle D. Hargrove Reed, 91, of Summers, Arkansas died<br />
March 31 at Westville, Oklahoma. She was born Nov. 28,<br />
1895, in Lincoln, Arkansas the daughter of Ulysses Grant and<br />
Amanda <strong>Snodgrass</strong> I-Iargrove.<br />
Survivors include one son, Guy Allen Reed of Summers;<br />
one brother, U.G. Hargrove of Westville; two sisters, Gladys<br />
Reese and Mabel Curtemen, both of Westville; three<br />
grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two grcat-greatgrandchildren.<br />

the White Rock Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel<br />
