WHAT: 1 st Baku Brownies is a long-running and highly successful program
at TISA. We are part of Girlguiding UK, regulated by the BGIFC (British
Guides in Foreign Countries), and are therefore a non-profit making
organization. Typical Brownies activities include badges, crafts, games,
singing, sharing, cooking, sewing, field trips, and sleepovers.
WHO: The Brownie Program is for girls aged 7 to 9 years old; therefore
girls may join after their 7 th birthday and stay in the program until they
turn 10 years old. We are currently the only Brownie pack at TISA, and
remain at the Girlguiding UK’s maximum allowance. We maintain a
waiting list for girls interested in joining Brownies when space becomes
available.
WHEN: During the school year we meet Wednesdays between 3pm and
4:45pm in the LUNCH HALL.
HOW: If you are interested in learning more about Brownies, or would
like to add your daughter to the waiting list, please contact Chelsea
Ayala at chelsea.ayala@cardno.com. There is no lower age limit for the
waiting list; if girls reach the top of the list before their 7 th birthday, they
will remain there until the term they turn 7, when they will be invited to
join the pack.
