the children’s bedroom
spacious bathroom with jacuzzi
kitchen are designed to be interactive spaces hence the traditional
kitchen gives way to an open kitchen. Matt finished grey ceramic
flooring is used in the kitchen which elevates the whole tone of the
kitchen.
The Stairs besides the kitchen escalates to the first floor. The first floor,
is furnished with a master bedroom, children’s bedroom, and a home
theater cum family lounge. Both the children’s room and home theater
cum family lounge share the courtyard that creates an interesting buffer
space. The children’s bedroom is north facing so that defused light
comes in throughout the year and sky-light is given allowing the play of
light and shadow during different times of the day. A raised deck has
been added as a feature to the room.
An unconventional design of hand rail to the staircase gives a
suspended effect to the staircase with steel cables dangling from the
ceiling, ascending to the second floor. Second floor houses two bed
rooms. Jacuzzi is provided in the spacious bathroom on the second
floor attached to one of the master bedrooms. In both master
bedrooms- split level flooring is given to enhance the interiors.
