Dear Parent or Guardian,<br />
Thank you <strong>for</strong> showing an interest in Garden<br />
International School, Eastern Seaboard, Ban<br />
Chang. We are a school that recognises the child<br />
as the centre of learning, our classes are taught by<br />
motivated and well-qualified teachers, supported<br />
by high quality facilities and services.<br />
We offer a curriculum using the British system as a<br />
framework up to Year 11, but with a deliberate and<br />
enriching international bias. Year 11 students can<br />
enter <strong>for</strong> up to eight IGCSEs with Cambridge<br />
International Examinations. Students in Years 12<br />
and 13 undertake the challenge of the International<br />
Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, permitting<br />
access to universities worldwide.<br />
Our community represents around 50 countries and our teachers are experienced at integrating students<br />
with a wide variety of cultural, linguistic and academic backgrounds. The diversity of our community enriches<br />
us all. We have a series of strong support programmes in English to allow <strong>for</strong> rapid student integration into<br />
our mainstream curriculum, students of all abilities are able to access the curriculum and we are very proud<br />
of their achievements. Our students also constantly display excellence in a variety of sports and in the<br />
per<strong>for</strong>ming and creative arts.<br />
We hold students, and indeed parents and wider GIS community, to our Core Values. Students of the school<br />

We have an active and very supportive Friends of Garden PTA who offer support to parents new to the<br />
school and provide regular focused meetings and presentations on issues important to parents.<br />

English Language Support (ELS) Provision 2015-2016<br />
Primary<br />
Level 1 – For students new, or relatively new, to English.<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of a minimum of 12 classes per cycle of withdrawal during Literacy and Reading<br />
lessons. Withdrawal will take the <strong>for</strong>m of individual support or in small groups of children of similar age<br />
and/or ability.<br />
Level 2 – For students able to have some access to Literacy.<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 6 classes per cycle of withdrawal during Reading and 6 classes per cycle of<br />
in-class support during English lessons.<br />
Level 3 - For students in either Year 1 or 2 or those in Year 3 and above who are able to access<br />
Literacy, but still need support with writing, reading or confidence.<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 6 classes per cycle of withdrawal, usually during reading lessons.<br />
Charges are set <strong>for</strong> a full term in advance:<br />
Level 1 – 32,400 baht per term<br />
Level 2 – 24,400 baht per term<br />
Level 3 – 15,000 baht per term<br />
Secondary (Year 7 to 9)<br />
KET – University of Cambridge Key English Test.<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 14 classes per cycle –instead of First Language English, Geography, History<br />
and Mandarin/Spanish.<br />
PET – University of Cambridge Preliminary English Test.<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 10 classes per cycle –instead of First Language English and<br />
Mandarin/Spanish. With Geography and History being taught by specialist teachers specifically to<br />
classes of students receiving ELS.<br />

Charges are set <strong>for</strong> a full term in advance:<br />
Secondary (Year 10 to IB2)<br />
KET – 40,500 baht per term<br />
PET – 32,400 baht per term<br />
FCE – no charge<br />
For Year 10 and above the IGCSE ESL and IB English B courses are part of the mainstream curriculum and,<br />
as they are taken as options by the students, there is no additional ELS charge.<br />
Is ELS compulsory?<br />
As per our Student Admission Policy, <strong>for</strong> students who are assessed to need it, Yes.<br />
It is vital that students are proficient in English if they are to succeed at GIS. There<strong>for</strong>e, it is a requirement that<br />
if a student is identified as needing ELS, they receive this support until they complete the programme.<br />
How is ELS need determined?<br />
Students in Years 1 and 2 will be assessed by their class teacher during their first weeks at GIS. Students<br />
entering Year 3 or above will have an interview and take a written test.<br />
All ELS students are assessed at the end of every term. Those who pass their assessment move to the next<br />
level. Students who successfully pass the final level will graduate from the ELS programme into mainstream<br />
Literacy (Primary) or English (Secondary) lessons.<br />
What if there is SEN and ELS support needed?<br />
Both of these additional provisions are extra on top of standard tuition, as such they are each charged<br />
separately.<br />
How much does ELS support cost?<br />
Parents are charged <strong>for</strong> ELS provision at a rate determined by the School Executive Board (SEB). The rates<br />
are included in this document, which is updated annually.<br />
How will these additional fees be charged?<br />
The additional fees <strong>for</strong> ELS will be labelled as Additional Tuition Fee (ELS) on invoices.<br />

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Provision 2015-2016<br />
In-class Small Group<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 3 classes per cycle whereby the SEN support is provided to a small group of<br />
students. Assistance is with explanations and instructions together with the supporting and the<br />
monitoring of the students.<br />
Withdrawal Small Group<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 3 classes per cycle whereby the SEN Teacher will work with a small group of<br />
students on identified strategies to better access the curriculum.<br />
In-class One-to-One<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 3 classes per cycle whereby the SEN support is provided to an individual.<br />
Assistance is with explanations and instructions together with supporting and monitoring.<br />
Withdrawal One-to-One<br />
Support is in the <strong>for</strong>m of 3 classes per cycle whereby the SEN Teacher will work with an individual<br />
student on specific identified strategies to better access the curriculum.<br />
Charges are set <strong>for</strong> a full term in advance:<br />
In-class Small Group – 5,000 baht per term<br />
Withdrawal Small Group – 10,000 baht per term<br />
In-class One-to-One – 7,500 baht per term<br />
Withdrawal One-to-One – 15,000 baht per term<br />
Note: These prices are <strong>for</strong> 3 lessons per cycle, charges are levied at the above rates <strong>for</strong> each<br />
bundle of 3 lessons per cycle.<br />
Is SEN compulsory?<br />
As per our Student Admission Policy, <strong>for</strong> students who are assessed to need it, Yes.<br />
It is vital that students who need extra assistance in being able to access the curriculum, manage their<br />
behaviour or receive supplemental support beyond the curriculum are provided this support if they are to<br />
succeed at GIS. There<strong>for</strong>e, it is a requirement that if a student is identified as needing SEN that they receive<br />
this support while they need it.<br />

How is SEN need determined?<br />
Teachers or parents may refer students <strong>for</strong> assessment by the SEN Teacher where there may be some<br />
concern over access to the curriculum or with behavioural issues.<br />
Students may already have an existing Individual Education Plan (IEP), which is then reviewed by the SEN<br />
Teacher. (All IEPs are monitored and regularly reviewed, ongoing strategies are recommended to the<br />
teachers to better assist the students).<br />
An IEP may be produced <strong>for</strong> a student after initial referral.<br />
Students may already have an existing Educational Psychologist Report, which identifies specific learning<br />
issues and provides staff with recommended strategies to best support the student. An IEP would then be<br />
developed to best implement these strategies.<br />
A student may be required to visit an Educational Psychologist in order to have a report produced.<br />
What if there is SEN and ELS support needed?<br />

CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT<br />
1. I accept that be<strong>for</strong>e I remove my child/ward <strong>for</strong> whatsoever reasons, a full academic term’s notice in writing must be given to the<br />
school. Failure to give the required notice will result in applicable School Fees (which could include any or all of: Tuition, ELS, SEN,<br />
Boarding, Bus, Yearbook, Canteen) being levied <strong>for</strong> the term that follows.<br />

Accident Insurance <strong>for</strong> Students<br />
All current students are covered under the school's accident insurance scheme <strong>for</strong> each year of<br />
enrolment. The insurer is MSIG Insurance.<br />
Claiming Process<br />
In order to proceed the claim with our insurance company, the following regulations and<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation are to be observed:<br />
1. The insurance coverage is 60,000 baht per student, per disability, per year.<br />
2. In the event of an accident at school, or during a school activity off of the school campus,<br />
the student will be taken to Queen Sirikit Navy Hospital. The school will pay <strong>for</strong> hospital<br />
costs within the insurance coverage, any amount exceeding 60,000 baht is to be borne by<br />
parents.<br />
3. If a parent specifically requests that their child be taken to an alternative hospital, the<br />
school will pay <strong>for</strong> hospital costs within the insurance coverage, any amount exceeding<br />
60,000 baht is to be borne by parents.<br />
4. In the case of an accident outside the school's responsibility, parents would need to pay the<br />
hospital costs first and then submit the following documents to the Student Registration<br />
Officer at the Front Office to claim from the insurance company accordingly.<br />
Exclusions<br />
• An original medical certificate<br />
• An original official receipt of medical treatment<br />
• A copy of the student's birth certificate and house registration<br />
• A copy of the parent's ID card or passport (<strong>for</strong> <strong>for</strong>eigners) with signature to certify<br />
true copy.<br />
Where parents have outstanding accounts <strong>for</strong> Tuition Fees or any other school fees.<br />
Any loss or injury arising from/or in consequence of the following causes:<br />
• Action of the insured while under the influence of alcohol, addictive drugs, narcotic<br />
drugs.<br />
• Suicide or attempted suicide or self-inflicted injury.<br />
• Infections except pyogenic infections, tetanus, or rabies from a wound or cut<br />
suffered as a result of an accident.<br />
• Medical treatment or surgical treatment except the necessary treatment <strong>for</strong> the<br />
injury which is covered under the insurance policy and occurring within in the<br />
period of the insurance policy.<br />
• Miscarriage and abortion.<br />
• Dental care except necessary first aid treatment within 7 days following an<br />
accident.<br />
• Food poisoning.<br />
• Backache except a fracture or dislocation of spinal cord as a result of an accident.<br />
• War, invasion, civil war, revolution, insurrection, civil commotion, popular rising<br />
against the government, riot, strike, military coup, martial law announcement,<br />
terrorism.<br />

• Nuclear weapons, radiation from any nuclear fuel, radioactive contamination,<br />
chemical, biological, bio-chemical and electromagnetic weapons.<br />
Loss or injury which occurs:<br />
• While the insured is racing of all kinds of car or boat, horse racing, ski playing or<br />
racing, skate racing, boxing, parachute jumping (except <strong>for</strong> the purpose of life<br />
saving), boarding or traveling in a hot-air balloon, gliding, bungee jumping, diving<br />
with oxygen tank and breathing equipment under water.<br />
• While the insured is riding or traveling on a motorcycle.<br />
• While the insured is boarding or traveling in an aircraft which has no license <strong>for</strong><br />
carrying passengers or does not operate as a commercial aircraft.<br />
• While the insured is taking part in a brawl or taking part in inciting a brawl.<br />
• While the insured is committing a felony or while the insured is being arrested,<br />
under arrest, or escaping the arrest.<br />

Student ID Card Agreement<br />

Each student from Year 3 and above is to have a compulsory Student ID Card.<br />
The cost of the Student ID Card is 200 baht, which is non-refundable.<br />
The Student ID Card is valid from August 1 to July 31 of the following year.<br />
A new Student ID Card is needed <strong>for</strong> each academic year<br />
At GIS the Student ID Card doubles as the debit card <strong>for</strong> the canteen. If the Student ID Card is to be used<br />
<strong>for</strong> canteen purchases, then funds need to be credited via the canteen till with an initial credit of at least 20<br />
baht. From this point on additional funds can be added to the Student ID Card <strong>for</strong> canteen use as required.<br />
Note:<br />
1. The card should be brought to school each day.<br />
2. The card and/or cash balance is/are not transferable.<br />
3. The school reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions without prior notice.<br />
4. The school is not responsible <strong>for</strong> the loss or damage of the card.<br />
5. In the case of loss or damage a replacement card must be purchased.<br />

At Garden International School we expect appropriate use of the Internet, intranet or school network.<br />
Access and use of the Internet at Garden International School is a privilege, not an automatic right. In<br />
order to remain entitled to that privilege, students must act in a responsible way when accessing and<br />
using the Internet, intranet or school network. Abuse of this privilege may mean that access may be<br />
withdrawn and/or other disciplinary action may be taken.<br />
Students will:<br />

Student Admission Policy<br />
1. Enrolment<br />
Applications are made through the Admission department at the school.<br />
Applications <strong>for</strong> admission to Garden International School are accepted at any time during the academic<br />
year, which typically runs from late August to late June. Admission is open to students of all nationalities.<br />
Application <strong>for</strong> admission at all levels requires the completion of the enrolment <strong>for</strong>m, and admission is<br />
subject to the payment of the appropriate enrolment fee.<br />
Students will be placed in their correct age group, apart from exceptional circumstances. The reasons <strong>for</strong><br />
these exceptions would be in the best interests of the education of the child and requires approval from the<br />
Principal.<br />
Where doubt exists as to the reason <strong>for</strong> leaving a previous school, the Principal, Head of Secondary or<br />
Head of Primary will contact the previous school, prior to accepting the students.<br />
Final approval <strong>for</strong> admission lies with the Principal.<br />
Required Documents<br />
1. An official copy of the previous two year’s school reports (except Foundation).<br />
2. A photocopy of the birth certificate, passport and student visa.<br />
3. Three recent colour passport-size photographs.<br />
4. A photocopy of the parents’ passports (<strong>for</strong> <strong>for</strong>eigners).<br />
5. A photocopy of the parents’ I.D cards and house registration (<strong>for</strong> Thais).<br />
Procedures <strong>for</strong> admission to the school vary slightly according to the age of the candidate:<br />
Early Years<br />
Children are admitted to Early Years if they are of an age that they would automatically progress to<br />
Nursery the following Academic Year. That is, they have to be three years old be<strong>for</strong>e the next 1 st of<br />
September.<br />
The child and his or her parents need to meet the classroom teacher be<strong>for</strong>e admission to the school in<br />
order <strong>for</strong> the teacher to advise the parent on how many half or full days are appropriate. The decision of<br />
how many full or half days is taken jointly by the parents and the teacher.<br />
If parents wish to change the number of half or full days that their child spends in the Early Years<br />
classroom then this must be done following a parent-teacher meeting which will assess the<br />
appropriateness of the time the child spends at school.<br />
Nursery and Reception<br />
An open policy will apply. Admission requires a preliminary interview with the parent/s by the appropriate<br />
Nursery or Reception teacher. Children must be independent toilet users to enter Nursery or Reception.<br />
Primary (Years 1 to 6) and Secondary (Years 7 to 9)<br />
Admission requires a preliminary interview with the parent/s by a member of our Admissions department.<br />
There may be a recommendation that prospective entrants have an interview with the Head of Secondary<br />
or Head of Primary.<br />

An English test administered by the English Language Support (ELS) Coordinator is required to determine<br />
the ELS needs where a student does not have English as a first language.<br />
The level of English <strong>for</strong> Year 1 and 2 students is assessed in the first weeks in school.<br />
Students in Year 9 who have not passed the KET test by the end of Term 2 will be required to enroll in<br />
Year 8 at the beginning of Term 3.<br />
Students admitted <strong>for</strong>, or during, Term 3 will not be able to join Year 9 without at least a proven KET level<br />
of English.<br />
Secondary – Year 10<br />
All prospective entrants must have an interview with the Deputy Head of Secondary.<br />
An English language test is mandatory where a student does not have English as a first language, to be<br />
conducted by the English Language Support (ELS) department. The minimum standard is a pass in the<br />
University of Cambridge KET test, or equivalent.<br />
The student must select option subjects from the options list.<br />
Secondary - Year 11<br />
All prospective entrants must have an interview with the Deputy Head of Secondary.<br />
An English language test is mandatory where a student does not have English as a first language, to be<br />
conducted by the English Language Support (ELS) department. The minimum standard is a pass in the<br />
University of Cambridge PET test, or equivalent.<br />
The student must select option subjects from the options list<br />
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme<br />
All prospective entrants must have an interview with the IBDP Coordinator.<br />
Entrance to Year 12, to begin IB study towards the diploma, requires a minimum of five passes at (I)GCSE<br />
with C grade or better, or in the case of a student entering from another system, evidence that they have<br />
reached a standard of academic achievement such that they are likely to succeed in the IB Diploma<br />
Programme.<br />
An English language test is mandatory where a student does not have English as a first language, to be<br />
conducted by the English Language Support (ELS) department. The minimum standard is a C pass in the<br />
University of Cambridge ESL examination, or equivalent.<br />
Exceptionally, entry may be considered in to Year 12 after November providing it is clearly understood that<br />
the student may have to start Year 12 again the following year if necessary.<br />
For students unable to meet our entry requirements an alternative course involving aspects of ELS,<br />
intensive IB course study in a reduced number of subjects to Certificate level, some IGCSE subjects or<br />
alternative study programmes such as our 3-year IB Foundation course may be recommended.<br />
The student must select option subjects from our options list.<br />
Entrance to Year 13 is highly unusual, students must have been studying the IB diploma all the previous<br />
year, and be adjudged to have a reasonable chance of success in either IB Certificate or Diploma<br />
examinations.<br />
The student must select option subjects from our options list.<br />
Students who have already completed 1 year of study at a comparable level to Year 12, and are adjudged<br />
to have a reasonable chance of success in either the IB Certificate or Diploma examinations, will be<br />
considered on their merits.<br />

Transfers from other International Schools<br />
We welcome students transferring from other International Schools.<br />
Students from other Educational Systems<br />
We are committed to successfully integrating our students into the school community, and to help ease the<br />
transition between different educational systems.<br />
Excluded or Potentially Disruptive Students<br />
Where it is deemed that the applicant is unlikely to cause any harm to our current students or disruption to<br />
the existing school ethos and organization, then our policy is that such students be given a second chance<br />
to continue their education<br />
However, it will be made clear to the applicant and their parents, that we accept such students on a one<br />
term probationary basis, and reserves the right to demand their removal at any time should patterns of<br />
behaviour be unacceptable to us. The school may insist on a home-school agreement.<br />
Students with Special Needs<br />
The student will need to meet with our Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher. If the school, in<br />
consultation with the parents, considers it has the capacity to contribute meaningfully to the progress of the<br />
student, and there are no disadvantages to other students, then such students will be welcomed.<br />
Parents should be aware that the school site covers a wide area with buildings of more than one storey<br />
and without elevators. Students with physical disabilities will be admitted if their disability allows them to<br />
access all learning areas of the building safely, and access the curriculum, without detriment to their or<br />
others’ learning.<br />
In some circumstances a one-to-one teaching assistant or additional special needs support may be<br />
required. This would be at parental expense.<br />

2. Financial Details<br />
Enrolment Fees<br />
These are non-refundable, are payable per child, and shall be <strong>for</strong>warded to the school during the<br />
application process, together with the Application Form and other required documents.<br />
Given the fact that some families may be transitory in the area and may seek short-term enrolments <strong>for</strong><br />
their children, the Enrolment Fee may, by negotiation, be paid per term over the first 6 terms of enrolment<br />
as follows:<br />
Foundation – 7,500 baht per term<br />
Year 1 to IB2 – 18,000 baht per term<br />
Application Fee<br />
This is non-refundable, and is payable when the Application Form is submitted. This fee covers<br />
administrative costs, which includes any necessary testing.<br />
School Bus Fees<br />
For school bus service, parents must complete the School Bus Request Form. The school will notify the<br />
parent once the student gets a school bus seat.<br />
For school bus service cancellation, parents must complete the School Bus Cancellation Form, 15 days in<br />
advance.<br />
Invoices<br />
This School receives no grant or sponsorship from any agency, hence its successful operation depends on<br />
the prompt receipt of school fees.<br />
The payment schedule <strong>for</strong> invoices <strong>for</strong> the school year (except <strong>for</strong> Year 11 and IB – where billing/payment<br />
is in Term 1 and 2 only):<br />
Term 1, Invoices are issued be<strong>for</strong>e/on June 1, Payment Due Date: 30 days from invoice date.<br />
Term 2, Invoices are issued be<strong>for</strong>e/on November 1, Payment Due Date: 30 days from invoice date.<br />
Term 3, Invoices are issued be<strong>for</strong>e/on March 1, Payment Due Date: 30 days from invoice date.<br />
The invoices are billed in Thai baht and will be based on attendance during the current term, please in<strong>for</strong>m<br />
the Admissions Department immediately should any changes occur.<br />
If invoices are not received as detailed above, please contact our Admissions Department immediately.<br />
New students must pay all school fees be<strong>for</strong>e they are placed in their classroom.<br />

The child will not be allowed to attend school, from the day after the account is due, which also<br />
means that any School Bus service will be suspended, until the outstanding account is settled.<br />
The child, if in Year 3 or above, will not be issued with a Student ID Card if the outstanding<br />
account is <strong>for</strong> Term 1 Tuition Fees.<br />
The Accident Insurance coverage of 60,000 baht which the school pays <strong>for</strong> the child with MSIG will<br />
lapse from the day after the account is due until the outstanding account is settled.<br />
The penalty interest of 150 baht per day will be charged from the day after the account is due and<br />
will be included with the payment of the outstanding account.<br />
Any Bursary, Discount or Scholarship will lapse from the day after the account is due and full fees<br />
will be applicable. A new invoice will be issued accordingly.<br />
Refund Policy<br />
90% of the Tuition Fee paid is refundable if withdrawal (with written notice and the return of school<br />
borrowings) is done be<strong>for</strong>e school starts.<br />

80% of the Tuition Fee paid is refundable if withdrawal (with written notice and the return of school<br />
borrowings) is done during the first week of school year.<br />
60% of the Tuition Fee is paid refundable if withdrawal (with written notice and the return of school<br />
borrowings) is done during the first 2 weeks of school year.<br />
NO refund is given if withdrawal is done after 2 weeks of school.<br />
For cases where a student is Excluded from the school, NO refund is given.<br />
Boarding Fees<br />
Boarding Fees are paid on a termly basis. If a boarder is in Year 11 or IB2 their third term does not finish<br />
on the final day of the annual academic calendar. Instead, it finishes on the Friday immediately following<br />
their final exam. Please see exam timetables <strong>for</strong> more. This is usually around the 3rd week of May <strong>for</strong> IB<br />
exams and the first week of June <strong>for</strong> IGCSE exams.<br />
Discount<br />
1. For non-Thai nationals, discount <strong>for</strong> the second, third or subsequent child:<br />
Second Child - 10% discount <strong>for</strong> the tuition fees<br />
Third Child/Subsequent Child - 15% discount <strong>for</strong> the tuition fees<br />
2. Thai nationals qualify <strong>for</strong> a Thai Discount on tuition fees. Proof of nationality of the child must be<br />
provided.<br />
From Year 1 to 11 - <strong>for</strong> a child to receive the (10%) Thai Discount, the child must be enrolled as Thai,<br />
and there<strong>for</strong>e MUST study Thai Language as a subject - as per MoE requirements (5 periods per<br />
cycle).<br />
For IB - <strong>for</strong> a child to receive the (25%) Thai Discount, the child must be enrolled as Thai, and<br />
there<strong>for</strong>e MUST study Thai Language as a subject.<br />
For Reception - <strong>for</strong> a child to receive the (10%) Thai Discount, the child must be enrolled as Thai, and<br />
there<strong>for</strong>e MUST study Thai Language as a subject - as per MoE requirements (of 2 periods per cycle<br />
in Reception and then of 5 periods per cycle from Year 1 to 11).<br />
For Early years and Nursery - <strong>for</strong> a child to receive the (10%) Thai Discount, the child must be<br />
enrolled as Thai, and there<strong>for</strong>e MUST study Thai Language as a subject - as per MoE requirements<br />
when reaching Reception, of 2 periods per cycle and then of 5 periods per cycle from Year 1 to 11).<br />
Note: For children of dual nationality the Thai Discount on tuition fees will only apply if the child is<br />
enrolled as Thai and meets the above requirements <strong>for</strong> undertaking Thai Language. A child of dual<br />
nationality enrolled in a nationality other than Thai does not qualify <strong>for</strong> the 10% Thai Discount and is<br />
ineligible to study Thai Language as a Thai citizen.<br />
3. A full year’s Tuition Fees paid in advance entitles the student to a 3% discount.<br />
Note:<br />
1. Companies receiving corporate rates are not entitled to these discounts.<br />
2. The school has the right to withdraw in full any Bursary, Discount or Scholarship if full payment of due<br />
fees is not made on, or be<strong>for</strong>e, the due date.<br />

3. By Cheque made payable to “MBf Taylors Limited”, please include additional 0.2% <strong>for</strong> bank charges<br />

5. สําเนาบัตรประชาชน และทะเบียนบานของผูปกครอง (กรณีเปนคนไทย) จํานวน 1 ชุด<br />
ขั้นตอนการรับนักเรียนเขาเรียนในแตละชั้นป มีความแตกตางกันเล็กนอยตามอายุของนักเรียน ตามรายละเอียดดังนี้<br />
ชั้นเตรียมอนุบาล (Early Years)<br />
เด็กจะสามารถเขาเรียนชั้นเตรียมอนุบาลได หากมีอายุถึงเกณฑที่จะเขาชั้นอนุบาล 1 (Nursery) ไดในปการศึกษาถัดไป นั่นคือ เด็กจะตองมีอายุ 3 ขวบเต็ม กอนถึงวันที่<br />
1 กันยายน ในปหนา<br />
เด็กและผูปกครองจําเปนตองพบครูประจําชั้นกอนโรงเรียนรับเขา เพื่อใหครูแนะนําผูปกครองวาเด็กควรจะเรียนครึ่งวัน หรือเต็มวัน<br />
เปนเวลากี่วันตอสัปดาหจึงจะเหมาะสม การตัดสินใจในเรื่องดังกลาวใหเปนความเห็นรวมกันของผูปกครองและครู<br />
หากผูปกครองประสงคที่จะเปลี่ยนจํานวนวันเรียนครึ่งวัน หรือเต็มวัน สามารถกระทําไดหลังจากมีการประชุมผูปกครอง-ครูผานไปแลวเทานั้น<br />
เพราะจะสามารถประเมินความเหมาะสมของชวงเวลาที่เด็กจะอยูในโรงเรียนได<br />
ชั้นอนุบาล 1 และอนุบาล 2 (Nursery และ Reception)<br />
ในระดับชั้นนี้ เราเปดรับโดยไมมีการสอบเขา แตครูระดับชั้นอนุบาล 1 หรืออนุบาล 2 จําเปนตองสัมภาษณผูปกครองขั้นตนกอน<br />
และเด็กจะตองสามารถเขาหองน้ําเองได โรงเรียนจึงจะรับเขาเรียนในชั้นอนุบาล 1 และ อนุบาล 2<br />

ชั้นประถม (Primary - Year 1 ถึง 6) และชั้นมัธยม (Secondary - Year 7 ถึง 9)<br />
ในการสมัครเขาเรียน เจาหนาที่ฝายรับสมัครนักเรียนจะสัมภาษณผูปกครองในขั้นตนกอน<br />
และอาจมีการแนะนําใหผูสมัครบางรายเขาสัมภาษณกับหัวหนาระดับมัธยม หรือหัวหนาระดับประถม หรือหัวหนาระดับอนุบาลดวยเชนกัน<br />
นอกจากนี้นักเรียนจะตองสอบขอสอบวัดความรูดานภาษาอังกฤษ โดยฝายภาษาอังกฤษเสริม (English Language Support - ELS)<br />
ซึ่งจะเปนการกําหนดวานักเรียนจะตองลงเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเสริมหรือไม กรณีนักเรียนไมไดใชภาษาอังกฤษเปนภาษาหลัก<br />
การทดสอบระดับความรูดานภาษาอังกฤษสําหรับ Year 1 และ Year 2 จะกระทําในชวงสัปดาหแรก ๆ ของการเปดเรียน<br />
ภายในชวงปลายเทอม 2 นักเรียนชั้น Year 9 ที่สอบขอสอบวัดความรูดานภาษาอังกฤษ KET ไมผาน จะตองลงเรียนชั้น Year 8 ในตอนตนเทอม 3<br />
นักเรียนที่เขาใหมในเทอม 3 ชั้น Year 8 หรือในระหวางที่นักเรียนอยูเทอม 3 ชั้น Year 8 จะไมสามารถขึ้น Year 9 ได หากสอบ KET ไมผาน<br />
ชั้นมัธยม (Secondary – Year 10)<br />
ผูสมัครเขาเรียนทุกคนจะตองเขารับการสัมภาษณกับรองหัวหนาระดับมัธยม<br />
นักเรียนที่ไมไดพูดภาษาอังกฤษเปนภาษาหลัก จะตองทดสอบความรูดานภาษาอังกฤษกอนโดยฝายภาษาอังกฤษเสริม<br />
โดยมาตราฐานขั้นต่ําสุดคือจะตองสอบผานขอสอบ KET ของมหาวิทยาลัยเคมบริดจ หรือเทียบเทา<br />
นักเรียนจะตองเลือกวิชาเลือกที่จะลงเรียน จากรายการวิชาเลือกที่เปดสอน<br />
ชั้นมัธยม (Secondary - Year 11)<br />
ผูสมัครเขาเรียนทุกคนจะตองเขารับการสัมภาษณกับรองหัวหนาระดับมัธยม<br />
นักเรียนที่ไมไดพูดภาษาอังกฤษเปนภาษาหลัก จะตองทดสอบความรูดานภาษาอังกฤษกอนโดยฝายภาษาอังกฤษเสริม<br />
โดยมาตราฐานขั้นต่ําสุดคือจะตองสอบผานขอสอบ PET ของมหาวิทยาลัยเคมบริดจ หรือเทียบเทา<br />
นักเรียนจะตองเลือกวิชาเลือกที่จะลงเรียน จากรายการวิชาเลือกที่เปดสอน<br />
ระดับประกาศนียบัตรนานาชาติ (International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma)<br />
ผูสมัครเขาเรียนทุกคนจะตองเขารับการสัมภาษณกับผูประสานงานฝาย IB<br />
นักเรียนที่จะเรียนตอ Year 12 เพื่อเริ่มเรียนหลักสูตร IB จะตองไดเกรด C หรือสูงกวา C เปนจํานวนอยางนอย 5 รายวิชา (I)GCSE<br />
หรือในกรณีที่นักเรียนมาจากระบบการศึกษาอื่น ใหนักเรียนแสดงหลักฐานผลการเรียนที่แสดงวาพวกเขามีแนวโนมที่จะสามารถเรียนหลักสูตร IB ไดจนจบ<br />
นักเรียนที่ไมไดพูดภาษาอังกฤษเปนภาษาหลัก จะตองทดสอบความรูดานภาษาอังกฤษกอนโดยฝายภาษาอังกฤษเสริม โดยมาตราฐานขั้นต่ําสุดคือไดเกรด<br />
C จากการสอบ ESL ของมหาวิทยาลัยเคมบริดจ หรือเทียบเทา<br />
อยางไรก็ตาม อาจมีขอยกเวนวา นักเรียนอาจไดรับการพิจารณาจากโรงเรียนใหเขาเรียนชั้น Year 12 ไดหลังจากเดือนพฤศจิกายน<br />
หากมีการทําความเขาใจรวมกันอยางขัดเจนวานักเรียนอาจจะตองเรียนชั้น Year 12 ซ้ําอีกในปถัดไป ตามความจําเปน<br />
สําหรับนักเรียนที่ไมผานเกณฑที่กําหนด โรงเรียนมีทางเลือกให ไมวาจะเปนการใหลงเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเสริมเพิ่มเติม<br />
หรือเสนอใหนักเรียนลงเรียนหลักสูตร IB แบบเขมขนซึ่งจะมีจํานวนวิชานอยลงและไดรับวุฒิบัตรแทนประกาศนียบัตรนานาชาติ<br />
หรือนักเรียนอาจเรียนวิชา IGCSE เพิ่ม หรืออาจแนะนําใหนักเรียนศึกษาโปรแกรมทางเลือกอื่น เชนคอรส IB ขั้นพื้นฐานซึ่งใชเวลา 3 ป เปนตน<br />
นักเรียนจะตองเลือกวิชาเลือกที่จะลงเรียน จากรายการวิชาเลือกที่เปดสอน<br />

การสอบขึ้น Year 13 เปนเรื่องที่ไมคอยเกิดขึ้น เนื่องจากนักเรียนจะตองเรียนหลักสูตร IB มาตลอดทั้งปกอนหนานั้นแลว<br />
และไดรับการรับรองวามีโอกาสที่จะสําเร็จการศึกษาในระดับวุฒิบัตร IB หรือประกาศนียบัตรนานาชาติ IB<br />
นักเรียนจะตองเลือกวิชาเลือกที่จะลงเรียน จากรายการวิชาเลือกที่เปดสอน<br />
นักเรียนที่ศึกษามา 1 ปเต็มแลวในระดับเทียบเทากับ Year 12 และไดรับการรับรองวามีโอกาสที่จะสําเร็จการศึกษาในระดับวุฒิบัตร IB<br />
หรือประกาศนียบัตรนานาชาติ IB จะไดรับการพิจารณาใหเรียน Year 13 จากผลการเรียน<br />
กรณีนักเรียนยายมาจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติอื่น<br />
เรายินดีตอนรับนักเรียนที่ยายมาจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติอื่น<br />
นักเรียนที่มาจากระบบการศึกษาอื่น<br />
เราสัญญาวาจะชวยใหนักเรียนเขากับสังคมโรงเรียนเราดวยดี และจะชวยใหการเปลี่ยนเขาสูระบบการเรียนที่แตกตางกันเปนไปดวยความราบรื่น<br />
นักเรียนที่ถูกไลออกจากโรงเรียนอื่น หรือนักเรียนที่มีแนวโนมวาจะกอความไมสงบเรียบรอย<br />
เมื่อมีการพิจารณาแลวเห็นวา นักเรียนที่สมัครใหมมิไดมีแนวโนมที่จะเปนอันตรายตอนักเรียนในโรงเรียนของเรา<br />
หรือไมมีแนวโนมที่จะกอความไมสงบเรียบรอยตอการดําเนินงานของโรงเรียนและองคกรโดยรวม<br />
นโยบายของเราคือนักเรียนคนดังกลาวจะไดรับโอกาสอีกครั้งใหศึกษาตอกับเรา<br />
อยางไรก็ตาม ทั้งนักเรียนและผูปกครองดังกลาวจะตองเขาใจวา เรารับนักเรียนใหทดลองเรียนกับเราเปนเวลา 1 ภาคเรียน<br />
และเราสงวนสิทธิ์ในการที่จะใหนักเรียนผูนั้นออกไปจากโรงเรียนของเราไดทุกเมื่อ หากการประพฤติตัวของเขาไมเปนที่ยอมรับของโรงเรียน<br />
ซึ่งโรงเรียนอาจจะเนนเรื่องนี้อีกครั้งโดยการทําสัญญาระหวางโรงเรียน และผูปกครองของนักเรียน<br />
นักเรียนที่เปนเด็กพิเศษ (Special Needs)<br />
นักเรียนจําเปนตองเขาพบครูผูเชี่ยวชาญดานการศึกษาพิเศษกอน ถาโรงเรียนปรึกษากับผูปกครองแลวเห็นวา<br />
โรงเรียนมีศักยภาพที่จะเสริมสรางพัฒนาการของเด็กได และไมสงผลเสียตอนักเรียนคนอื่น นักเรียนที่เปนเด็กพิเศษก็สามารถเขาศึกษาที่โรงเรียนได<br />
ผูปกครองควรจะตองตระหนักวาโรงเรียนมีพื้นที่กวางขวาง มีอาคารเรียนหลายอาคารซึ่งสูงกวา 1 ชั้น และไมมีลิฟตโดยสาร<br />
นักเรียนซึ่งเปนบุคคลพิการจะเขาเรียนได ถาความพิการของเขาไมเปนอุปสรรคตอการไปยังพื้นที่ตาง ๆ ในบริเวณโรงเรียนไดอยางปลอดภัย<br />
และสามารถทํากิจกรรมตาง ๆ ในหลักสูตรได โดยไมเปนอุปสรรคตอการเรียนรูของตัวนักเรียนเอง หรือนักเรียนคนอื่น ๆ<br />
ในบางกรณี นักเรียนอาจตองมีผูชวยสวนตัว หรือตองไดรับความชวยเหลือพิเศษเพิ่มเติม ซึ่งคาใชจายที่เพิ่มขึ้นนี้ถือเปนความรับผิดชอบของผูปกครอง<br />

2. รายละเอียดเรื่องคาใชจายตาง ๆ<br />
คาธรรมเนียมแรกเขา (Enrollment Fees)<br />
คาธรรมเนียมแรกเขานี้ ไมสามารถขอเงินคืนได เปนคาธรรมเนียมตอนักเรียนหนึ่งคน ชําระใหแกโรงเรียนระหวางขั้นตอนการสมัครเขาเรียน<br />
โดยชําระพรอมกับการนําสงใบสมัคร และเอกสารการสมัครอื่น ๆ<br />
แตอยางไรก็ตาม อาจมีบางครอบครัวที่โยกยายมาอยูในพื้นที่นี้ชั่วคราว และมองหาโรงเรียนระยะสั้น ๆ ใหแกบุตรหลาน ดังนั้น<br />
โรงเรียนจึงอาจยืดหยุนการเก็บคาธรรมเนียมแรกเขานี้ หรือใหมีการแบงชําระคาธรรมเนียมเปนระยะเวลา 6 เทอมแรก ตามรายละเอียดดังนี้<br />
ชั้นเตรียมอนุบาล (Early Years) – 7,500 บาทตอเทอม<br />
ชั้นอนุบาล 1 และอนุบาล 2 (Nursery and Reception) – 7,500 บาทตอเทอม<br />
ชั้นประถมและมัธยม (Primary and Secondary) – 18,000 บาทตอเทอม<br />
คาใบสมัคร (Application Fee)<br />
คาใบสมัครนี้ ไมสามารถขอเงินคืนได และตองชําระพรอมกับการนําสงใบสมัคร คาใบสมัครนี้ครอบคลุมถึงงานดานเอกสารตาง ๆ<br />
รวมถึงการทดสอบที่จําเปนกอนรับนักเรียนเขา<br />
คารถโรงเรียน (School Bus Fees)<br />
หากผูปกครองประสงคใชบริการรถโรงเรียน ผูปกครองจะตองกรอกแบบฟอรมการขอใชรถโรงเรียนใหครบถวน โรงเรียนจะแจงใหผูปกครองทราบ<br />
เมื่อสามารถจัดหาที่นั่งใหนักเรียนได<br />
ในการยกเลิกใชบริการรถโรงเรียน ผูปกครองจะตองกรอกแบบฟอรมขอยกเลิกการใชรถโรงเรียนใหครบถวน แลวนําสงลวงหนาเปนเวลา 15 วัน<br />
ใบแจงหนี้ (Invoices)<br />
โรงเรียนเราไมไดรับเงินชวยเหลือหรือเงินอุดหนุนจากสถาบันใด ๆ ดังนั้น การดําเนินงานตาง ๆ<br />
ของโรงเรียนใหสําเร็จลุลวงไดจึงขึ้นอยูกับการเก็บคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาไดอยางรวดเร็ว<br />
ตารางการชําระคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาประจําปการศึกษา (ยกเวนชั้น Year 11 และ IB ที่การสงใบแจงหนี้ หรือการชําระเงินคือเทอม 1 และเทอม 2 เทานั้น) :<br />
• เทอม 1 โรงเรียนจะสงใบแจงหนี้ออกไปกอน หรือภายในวันที่ 1 มิถุนายน กําหนดชําระเงินภายใน 30 วันนับจากวันที่ในใบแจงหนี้<br />
• เทอม 2 โรงเรียนจะสงใบแจงหนี้ออกไปกอน หรือภายในวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน กําหนดชําระเงินภายใน 30 วันนับจากวันที่ในใบแจงหนี้<br />
• เทอม 3 โรงเรียนจะสงใบแจงหนี้ออกไปกอน หรือภายในวันที่ 1 มีนาคม กําหนดชําระเงินภายใน 30 วันนับจากวันที่ในใบแจงหนี้<br />
ใบแจงหนี้ที่ทานไดรับ จํานวนเงินเปนบาท และอิงกับการเรียนในเทอมปจจุบัน หากมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงกรุณาแจงฝายรับสมัครนักเรียนใหมทันที<br />
หากทานมิไดรับใบแจงหนี้ตามรายละเอียดขางตน กรุณาติดตอฝายรับสมัครนักเรียนใหมทันที<br />
นักเรียนใหมตองชําระคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาทุกอยางกอน นักเรียนจึงจะสามารถเขาไปเรียนได<br />
หมายเหตุ:<br />
หากไมมีการชําระคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษา หรือไมมีการติดตอแผนกบัญชีถึงทางเลือกในการชําระเงินใด ๆ<br />
• นักเรียนจะไมไดรับอนุญาตใหเขาเรียน นับจากวันที่เกินกําหนดชําระเงิน ซึ่งหมายความวา บริการรถโรงเรียนก็จะถูกระงับเชนกัน<br />
จนกวาจะมีการชําระยอดคางจายทั้งหมด<br />
• นักเรียนที่อยูชั้น Year 3 เปนตนไป จะไมไดรับบัตรประจําตัวนักเรียน หากยังมียอดคางชําระคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาของเทอม 1<br />
• ประกันอุบัติเหตุนักเรียนที่มีวงเงินคุมครองคารักษาพยาบาล 60,000 บาท จากประกันภัยของ MSIG ซึ่งปกติโรงเรียนชําระคาเบี้ยประกันให<br />
จะไมคุมครองนักเรียนอีกตอไปนับจากวันแรกที่เกินกําหนดชําระเงิน จนกวาจะมีการชําระยอดคางจายทั้งหมด<br />
• จะมีคาปรับเปนจํานวนเงินวันละ 150 บาท นับจากวันแรกที่เกินกําหนดชําระเงิน และคาปรับนี้จะรวมอยูในรายการยอดคางชําระทั้งหมด<br />

• สวนลดตาง ๆ ในทุกรูปแบบ จะเปนโมฆะนับจากวันแรกที่เกินกําหนดชําระเงิน และโรงเรียนจะคิดคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาทุกอยางในราคาเต็ม<br />
โดยจะมีการออกใบแจงหนี้ใบใหมสงใหตอไป<br />
นโยบายการคืนเงิน<br />
• หากนักเรียนถอนตัวกอนโรงเรียนเปดปการศึกษาใหม (โดยมีการแจงเปนลายลักษณอักษรและนักเรียนคืนทรัพยสินของโรงเรียนที่นักเรียนยืมไป)<br />
โรงเรียนจะคืนเงินคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาให 90%<br />
• หากนักเรียนถอนตัวภายในสัปดาหแรกของภาคเรียน (โดยมีการแจงเปนลายลักษณอักษรและนักเรียนคืนทรัพยสินของโรงเรียนที่นักเรียนยืมไป)<br />
โรงเรียนจะคืนเงินคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาให 80%<br />
• หากนักเรียนถอนตัวภายใน 2 สัปดาหแรกของภาคเรียน (โดยมีการแจงเปนลายลักษณอักษรและนักเรียนคืนทรัพยสินของโรงเรียนที่นักเรียนยืมไป)<br />
โรงเรียนจะคืนเงินคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาให 60%<br />
• จะไมมีการคืนเงินใด ๆ ให หากนักเรียนถอนตัวหลังจากโรงเรียนเปดไปแลว 2 สัปดาห<br />
• กรณีนักเรียนถูกไลออกจากโรงเรียน จะไมมีการคืนเงินใด ๆ ให<br />
คาหอพักนักเรียน (Boarding Fees)<br />
คาหอพักนักเรียนตองชําระเปนรายเทอม<br />
หากนักเรียนหอพักอยูในชั้น Year 11 หรือ IB2 วันเรียนวันสุดทายของเทอม 3 ของพวกเขาจะไมใชวันสุดทายตามที่แสดงในปฏิทินโรงเรียน<br />
แตจะเปนวันศุกรตอจากวันที่พวกเขาสอบปลายภาคเสร็จแลว กรุณาดูรายละเอียดจากตารางสอบของนักเรียน ซึ่งโดยปกติจะอยูในชวงสัปดาหที่ 3<br />
ของเดือนพฤษภาคมสําหรับการสอบ IB และในชวงสัปดาหแรกของเดือนมิถุนายนสําหรับการสอบ IGCSE<br />
สวนลด<br />
1. สําหรับนักเรียนที่มิใชสัญชาติไทย จะไดรับสวนลดสําหรับบุตรคนที่ 2 และคนที่ 3 หรือคนถัดมา<br />
• บุตรคนที่ 2 – สวนลด 10% สําหรับคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษา<br />
• บุตรคนที่ 3 หรือบุตรคนถัดมา – สวนลด 15% สําหรับคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษา<br />
2. นักเรียนที่มีสัญชาติไทย จะไดรับสวนลดคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาสําหรับคนไทย แตตองนําสงหลักฐานที่แสดงวานักเรียนเปนบุคคลสัญชาติไทย<br />
• Year 1 ถึง Year 11 - สําหรับนักเรียนที่ไดรับสวนลดสําหรับคนไทย (10%) นักเรียนจะตองลงทะเบียนเปนนักเรียนไทย<br />
ดังนั้นจึงตองเรียนวิชาภาษาไทย ตามกฎขอบังคับของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ (จํานวน 5 คาบเรียนตอรอบ)<br />
• ระดับ IB - สําหรับนักเรียนที่ไดรับสวนลดสําหรับคนไทย (25%) นักเรียนจะตองลงทะเบียนเปนนักเรียนไทย ดังนั้นจึงตองเรียนวิชาภาษาไทย<br />
• Reception - สําหรับนักเรียนที่ไดรับสวนลดสําหรับคนไทย (10%) นักเรียนจะตองลงทะเบียนเปนนักเรียนไทย<br />
ดังนั้นจึงตองเรียนวิชาภาษาไทย ตามกฎขอบังคับของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ (จํานวน 2 คาบเรียนตอรอบในชั้น Reception และเพิ่มเปน 5<br />
คาบเรียนตอรอบตั้งแตชั้น Year 1 ถึง Year 11)<br />
• Early years และ Nursery - สําหรับนักเรียนที่ไดรับสวนลดสําหรับคนไทย (10%) นักเรียนจะตองลงทะเบียนเปนนักเรียนไทย<br />
ดังนั้นจึงตองเรียนวิชาภาษาไทย ตามกฎขอบังคับของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เมื่อขึ้นชั้น Reception (จํานวน 2 คาบเรียนตอรอบในชั้น Reception) และเพิ่มเปน<br />
5 คาบเรียนตอรอบตั้งแตชั้น Year 1 ถึง Year 11<br />
หมายเหตุ นักเรียนที่ถือสองสัญชาติ จะไดรับสวนลดสําหรับคนไทยตอเมื่อนักเรียนลงทะเบียนเปนนักเรียนไทย<br />
และปฏิบัติตามขอกําหนดขางตนในการลงเรียนวิชาภาษาไทย นักเรียนที่ถือสองสัญชาติแตลงทะเบียนเปนนักเรียนตางชาติจะไมไดรับสวนลด 10%<br />
ซึ่งเปนสวนลดสําหรับคนไทยและไมตองลงเรียนวิชา<br />
ภาษาไทยเหมือนนักเรียนไทย<br />
3. หากมีการชําระคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาลวงหนา 1 ปเต็ม จะไดรับสวนลดเพิ่มอีก 3% ของจํานวนเงินที่จะตองจาย<br />
หมายเหตุ:<br />
1. นักเรียนจากบริษัทคูสัญญาที่ไดรับสวนลดสําหรับบริษัทแลว จะไมสามารถรับสวนลดดังกลาวขางตนซ้ําอีก<br />
2. โรงเรียนมีสิทธิ์ยกเลิก หรือถอดถอนความชวยเหลือใด ๆ ไมวาจะเปน สวนลดสําหรับผูมีปญหาดานการเงิน (Bursary) สวนลด (Discount) หรือทุนการศึกษา<br />
(Scholarship) เต็มจํานวน หากยังมิไดมีการชําระคาธรรมเนียมการศึกษาเต็มจํานวนภายในเวลาที่กําหนด<br />
