For a week, 168 bishops,<br />
pastors, teachers and prospective<br />
teachers from 12 nations laid<br />
aside their titles and positions<br />
and came as students to Subang,<br />
Malaysia for an unprecedented<br />
Asian summit.<br />

Three years ago when I was in Texas for PI<br />
Summit, I had a vision of teachers from<br />
the Asian region coming together in<br />
Malaysia to be equipped. After I shared<br />
this vision with our late Bishop Steve Willoughby,<br />
he admonished me to make it happen.<br />
And it happened. 168 bishops, pastors,<br />
teachers and prospective teachers from 12 nations<br />
– namely Singapore, Malaysia, Micronesia,<br />
Indonesia, Guam, Japan, Hong Kong, China,<br />
Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines and the United<br />
States – laid aside their titles and positions for a<br />
week in June and came as students at Subang,<br />
Malaysia for an unprecedented Asian summit to<br />
