How can people get referred to SRI?
Spinal cord injury patients may now be referred to SRI
for their rehabilitation when they are:
- assessed via the Outreach clinics
- or assessed by their general practitioner
- or assessed by any of the specialist SCI
physicians
- referred by their ACC Support/Service Coordinator
Once SRI receives a referral from any of the above
clinicians they will contact the patient and then ACC to
facilitate the funding etc. However for those patients not
covered under ACC, a fee for service is required.
